My home is a semi detached 5 bedroom house. I am a widower with 3 children ages 26, 24and 22years. who are in college at the moment. Transport there is a LUAS within walking distance buses and Taxis. Dundrum shopping centre is also within walking distance, Gym, pubs. Restaurants etc.

About the Area
Our house is located on the South side of the city. We are about 8km from the city center and about 3.5km from UCD. Trinity College is on the Luas line so is very accessible from my home. DIT / Anger Street is about 5/6 km from my home and is accessible via Luas, bus walking or cycling. We live in the heart of Dundrum so shopping is not a problem and you can get a Bus, Luas, Taxi's into the city or you can cycle if you are up for it.

No smoking indoors.
Please keep our home secure, lock doors and windows when leaving the house.
Please note guests have access to :
1. Family bathroom with shower.
2. Kitchen / dining area for the preparation and eating of light meals and general hang-out area up to 20:00 no cooking after 20:00
3. Utility room for Laundry
4. Wi-fi is provided.
Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you want to invite a friend over, there should be no problem, just ask.
We expect all guests to have respect for our home and each other.
PAYMENT METHOD
In the case of one-month stays.
Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee paid to Homestay.com)
For longer stays, booking deposit in advance is equivalent to one months payment and first months payment Is due before or on day of arrival.
Booking deposit will be refunded in full before departure, following an inspection of your room/facilities. Can be refunded online or in cash as desired.
Cancellation Policy:
In the case of 1 month stays (30/31 days, my minimum)
-We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation.
Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.”
For longer stays, i.e - those exceeding 31 days,
- one months notice is required and refunds will not be made unless this rule is adhered to.
Payment can be made by direct payment TO MY BANK ACCOUNT online and a receipt of deposit will issue immediately.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
