About the Homestay
We are ideally located for a visit to Dublin, with easy access to all areas with public transport readily available on the doorstep.
We are only 4Km/20 mins by bus to Dublin city, train stations, Croke Park and accessible for all entertainment venues and a mere 15 mins by taxi to Dublin airport. We are a walk away from Dublin City University (DCU) and 5 minutes from the National Botanical Gardens in a leafy mature residential area of Historical Glasnevin.
We offer a warm welcome to our guests to our bright spacious sky blue attic room. It isn’t just a bedroom, we like to think of it as being your own space to relax and unwind and plan your day. We are also happy for guests to enjoy sitting in the back garden/ patio area on a sunny day.
Our preference is for two people sharing rather than a single occupancy but we are very happy to host one person too so please feel free to make contact. On road parking is available free of charge for one car - at owners own risk.
We are happy to provide a complementary continental breakfast (upon request).
Wifi is included. Ideal for friends, couples/parent(s) with small child*.
*We offer an extra comfortable fold up bed free of charge for a child under 10 years of age if staying with two adults.
Please note children/teenagers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
The sunny Sky Blue room has large windows overlooking our back garden and polytunnel to the rear or the Dublin mountains to the front. There are two single beds, a sofa to relax on, a radio/CD player and a writing desk, the en-suite is small, compact and private. Hair dryer, towels and bathroom accessories are all provided.
We are happy to answer any questions and will endeavor to make your stay in Dublin as comfortable as possible.
* Please note we have a St Patrick’s weekend rate of €180 per night for the room in March 2024. This includes a light breakfast.

This is a fatalistic memory of mine, I truly have got brilliant living with localised traditions and funs, not to mention the sky blue house, I had always seen pure blue sky through the window besides the ceiling, I would cherish this experience with Fiona and her handsome dog for sure. Thank you, I will miss you.
It was a wonderful stay, Fiona and her family warm welcome made me feel at home. Really cozy room with private bathroom in a very nice quiet area. I highly recommend Fiona's accommodation. Thank you for having me as a guest.
Fiona is hands down the luckiest host you could end up with. If you find a chance to book with her, you're bound to have the most welcoming trip. It's the coziest and most warm experiences I've had traveling!
It was a Great stay. Fiona and her husband were very kind and welcoming.
It was a really nice stay !
A really fantastic family & a warm welcomed
If you do not want to stay in an hotel.
It is the place to go !!
A private bathroom with a lovely bedroom with quite some nice space for 2.
Breakfast and « French goûté » so perfect
Thank you for this really good time only 15 mns from the center of Dublin
It was a great stay from the start. Fiona and Kieran were warm and welcoming. They provided a delicious breakfast and gave wonderful directions. Their home is absolutely lovely. I would like to return some time in the future.
Fiona and her family welcomed us wonderfully into their home. The room is very comfortable, spacious and has a private bathroom which is fantastic. The house is very clean and tidy. In the morning and at the end of the day we always had the table set with variety, full of details and a little note Fiona was tireless in guiding us on our visit to Dublin, in helping us with absolutely everything and always super helpful. It was our first homestay stay and we felt we had the best experience possible! I recommend 100%
I highly recommend Fiona, she helped me so much!! With my school, accomodation and all of Dublin.
Their house is very well located, charming and their dog is adorable.
I will miss you Fiona, thank you for everything et à bientôt j'espère!
I would highly recommend Fiona's home. Fiona and her husband and Gromit were so welcoming and their home is absolutely gorgeous. Fiona is absolutely wonderful, great person who is very thoughtful and kind. 10/10 highly recommended will hopefully get to stay again. Thanks for everything
I highly recommend Fiona. She's fantastic! Really helpful and sweet!!! The house is not too far from the city center and easily accessible by bus. I would choose Fiona's house over the hostel, especially if you want to relocate. There you can spend your time peacefully and safely without worrying about the other guests of the hostel and your belongings. The price is fair and the area where the house is located is quite but close to the supermarkets and any other facilities you might need. The room has its own bathroom that is not used by the family which makes things easier. Plus Fiona is very helpful with tips about the country, Dublin city and on how to spend your time in general.
Don't hesitate to book here. You won't regret it!
