Located 5 minutes from the National Botanical Gardens in a leafy mature residential area of Historical Glasnevin, we are just 20 minutes by bus to both Dublin city and by taxi to Dublin airport. We offer a warm welcome to our guests in our bright spacious sky blue attic bedroom with two single beds
*(extra fold up bed available)and private en suite,with Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room.Complementary continental breakfast is available (upon request). Wifi included. Ideal for friends, couples/parent(s) with child, prices vary according to number staying. Parking for one car-at owners own risk.
Please note children/teenagers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Helpful notes for your stay:
*We offer a comfortable fold up bed for an extra person (short term only) or child at €15 extra per night.
The Sky Blue room is very spacious and sunny with plenty of room for the beds, a sofa to relax on, a radio/CD player and a writing desk, the en suite is compact and private, shower unit may be restrictive for extra tall people, fine for normal height.

About the Area
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in a mature leafy residential area of Old Glasnevin, just 5 mins from National Botanical Gardens and the Historical Glasnevin Cemetry museum, Bon Secours Hospital and Dublin City University (DCU). Just 20 minutes by bus (on the doorstep) to Dublin city, Trinity College and 15/20 minute taxi drive to the airport. Local cafe's and character pubs are within walking distance.

Please feel at home,treat the house like your own and be respectful in terms of cleanliness,noise etc.
No candles permitted in the room
A light continental breakfast is available on request, free of charge. If you wish to use the kitchen at other times, just give enough notice for us to work around you and remember to clean up afterwards.
We have one visitor parking space available, we ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours and park in our driveway or directly outside our own house (cars parked at owners own risk)
Most importantly last but not least...relax and enjoy your stay with us.

Fiona (and indeed her family) is a very friendly, welcoming and considerate host.
Only negative was the smaller than expected en-suite into the attic eaves so tall guests be aware.Host reply

Fiona House is a very nice and quiet place, near Dublin Center. Fiona is a helpfull woman. She allways replied my text questions quickly. Good advices! If I come back to Dublin I’ll repeat hers.

Fiona est une hôtesse extraordinaire, toujours prête à rendre service, son accueil est chaleureux.
La chambre très confortable est agrémentée de petites choses afin qu’on s’y sente comme à la maison.

Thank you dear Fiona for making my first time experience with Homestay super wonderful! I consider myself happy that You were my host :) In fact the whole Murray family was super welcoming and made me feel home in their own lovely way. Besides great insider tips and great suggestions what to discover in Glasnevin and great cuddles with the doggies, Fiona Kindly always take care of me. I had access to everything: kitchen, refrigerator, the chilly fireplace and even the washing machine/dryer. Can't thank you enough caretaker and recommend to stay with you a 100%!

Fiona is the most adorable host we've ever met.
She has helped us a many times to find our way and to enjoy Dublin at best.
The room was very comfortable and decorated with great taste.
The hearty breakfast will delight all gourmands.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
