Very Private Double room with own separate Private bathroom. All on 3rd Floor of old Edwardian house. Built in 1904. This red brick period family home is situated in a peaceful tree lined road within walking distance 30min (2.3km) of City. Dublin Airport is 11 km away. Ideal for long stay guests like Students, Interns, employees.
King size bed, large room. Used to be by eldest daughters room. She’s now working in London.
Large study desk and lamp. Many exams preparations done at this desk!! Ample storage space-Wardrobe, drawers, shelves. Wooden floor.
Fantastic views of Dublin from velux windows. Gorgeous room.
We are a couple in our Fifties, Jacques my husband is French, and two of our children are living away from home.

Botanic Gardens, Croke Park, O'Connell Street, Glasnevin Cemetery, Old Jameson Distillery, Hugh Lane Gallery, DCU all very close by this mature area.
The area has lovely restaurants, bars- (The Gravediggers- Kavanaghs & Fagans) cafes and parks for you to enjoy. Supermarkets, shops within walking distance.
Great transport links to airport 10km, Train station 2.5km and Bus station 1.5km.
No shortage of buses near us and the DART (Drumcondra Station) is only 400 Meters away.

The shower room uses a Saniplus macerator pump so for all our sakes....please don't put anything "inorganic" down sink or toilet..use the bin provided -Thanks!.

Niamh and her family are really nice people. She's always available when you need anything. The room is big with plenty of space to tidy your stuff. It is really nice to have your own bathroom too.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
