About the Area
The room to let is a lovely bright room and boasts plenty of space. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Finglas within walking/cycling distance to DCU and on a number of bus routes to the city centre. The number 83 is one minute from the house with the bus routes 9, 40 and the 140 are 5 minutes away. Most journeys into the city take 30/40 minutes depending on traffic. It is therefore also an excellent location for a student in any of the city centre universities. The bed is super comfortable and can be extended to a double. The room comes with shelving, a cosy armchair, a large mirror, a free-standing wardrobe and a desk which is ideal for studying/working from home. There is also great Wifi connection. The shared bathroom is modern, clean and kept in pristine condition. The bathroom has a washbasin, a bathtub, an electric shower and a WC as standard. You will have access to a very nice, clean and modern kitchen. For storage, there is a fridge, a freezer and cupboard space. For cooking, there is an oven, a grill, a hob and a microwave. Washing facilities include a washing machine and a dishwasher. The sitting room is bright and relaxing. The back garden has outdoor seating and is lovely to sit in during the summer days!

Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 25% of the booking total to us in advance of of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee paid to Homestay.com)
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 14 days notice for any cancellations. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.

This was my first experience living with a host family and what can I say, I loved living with them so much and I had the most wonderful time staying with Lauras family. The family are such great, generous and loving people and I am immensely happy to have met the three of them. They were very supportive during my stay and couldn't have imagined it any better. They definitely made me feel very much at home! Thank you for this precious and wonderful time that I will never forget!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
