15 minutes to Sandyford Business Park, Greenline Luas, Dundrum Towncentre and Enniskerry village.
I am Trinity College educated , and I teach English literature and EFL. I enjoy helping my guests improve their English!
We have a lovely cat called ' Poppy', who is very sweet and friendly.
We have a very large, south west facing walled garden, to make the most of the Irish sunshine!
Our guests often tell us that staying in our house is very peaceful and relaxing . They also mention that the location is ideal, having every amenity practically on your doorstep.

About the Area
Our house is a large, detached property nestled at the foot of the Dublin mountains within Sandyford village. Within a two minute walk you will find all village amenities, such as the gastropub, church, pharmacy, Doctor's surgery, hairdressers, cafe , wineshop, Indian Italian and Chinese restaurants , and local grocery store.
Dublin 18 is one one dublin's premier addresses. It is a safe, spacious, peaceful, area, yet at the centre of everything. All modes of public transport are within a short walking distance.
The area is also known for it's scenic beauty, with many lovely walks and hiking trails and Co. Wicklow- 'The garden of Ireland' , as well as beaches and the Irish Sea just 20 minutes away.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
