This en-suite room is on the ground floor beside the entrance. It is clean, bright and spacious, recently refurbished- with a nice wooden desk and modern decor. Lots of storage and really nicely lit. The room gets the sun in the morning and is a quiet and peaceful place to stay or to study not far from the city centre.
It has a big bathroom en-suite with a walk-in wet room with power shower that's lovely for hot showers in the colder weather. The room also comes equipped with a kettle. Although it's room only - you'll have access to the kitchen.
There is Wi-fi acccess in the room.
Clontarf is a lovely leafy and safe area - lots of nice cafes, restaurants and walks. There's a bus that goes from outside the house straight into the city centre - it's a really nice journey in the morning along by the sea. The DART train is about a ten minute walk and also brings you into the city centre and right across the city..

About the Area
We are in Clontarf a safe suburb on the north side of the city. The bus stop is on the road - the airport a 15/20 minute drive. The area is well serviced with bars/restaurants/coffee shops. St Anne’s Park and Rose garden nearby, the seafront a 10 min walk with access to the Bull Island and Dollymount Beach - kite surfing/paddle boarding/sea swimming.

House Rules
• Booking is for en-suite room with use of kitchen.
• Use of kitchen by agreement – usually after host finished their own meal preparation
• Kitchen to be left clean and tidy after use with surfaces wiped down
• No overnight guests
• No smoking
• If on Zoom calls after 10.30pm use headphones.
• Ensure house securely locked upon exit.
• Compliance with the latest guidelines on Covid policy.
PAYMENT METHOD
• Guests are required to pay 25% of the booking total in advance to hold the accommodation (on top of the 15% service fee payable to Homestay.com).
• This is payable once booking has been accepted and after the service fee paid to Homestay.
• Failure to do this will result in applications for the accommodation continuing to be considered from other parties.
• The balance payable one week in advance of arrival
.Any bank charges to be met by the guest
• Nights away may not be deducted from the total
• For stays over one month, one month’s notice to be given if stay is cut short
• Stays cut short under one month are non refundable
Cancellation policy
• Guests are asked to give at least 7 days notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation after this will not be refunded.

The berhroom, the house and the garden are lovely, but the best is friendly Una. She teats you as one of the family. A pleasure have shared a month with her at her house. Thank you Una.

Una was a friendly host and her dog Pepsi was really cute. The room Una provided was really good, and it was nice to have a bathroom. There is a bus stop right in front of the house and it takes 30 minutes to the city center. And it's 10 minutes to the beach and all amenities are nearby, so it was really good to stay. I really appreciate her kindness. It will be an experience I will never forget for the rest of my life! It was the best week ever. thank you!

This experience has been so full feeling since day one, was so excited from the moment i first exchange message with Una she was so welcoming and made me feel safe and as i was making the best choice. When i got there, everything was so amazing, you could see every detail was intend to make you feel at home.
The ensuite bedroom is incredible, loved the privacy and the big window with an amazing view made it more than perfect. The neighborhood was so beautiful, i loved going going on walks, you can go to St. Annes Park is magnificent, it's has gardens out of this world and every saturday there's a small farmers market with local products and food where everyone get together and you could really feel a part of this lovely community. Also one of the things that i´ve loved the most (and was one of the reason why a chose Una´s home) was how close to the sea it is. You can take amazing walks by the sea and go to the North Bull island and have a swim (it's cold but totally worth it) and then have a Coffee or grab something to eat because truly Clontarf has everything for you.
The buses and Dart are really fast, they start really early and last bus is very convenient, you have nothing to worry about!Una i will never get tired of telling you how thankful i am for meeting you, you are an incredible hostess and woman and it really shows how much love, dedication and intention you put in your home and all of your guest are going to be so lucky to be staying with you.
You and pepsi have made this life changing experience so heartwarming and i will treasure forever how fortunate i am to have crossed path with such an amazing family.

I spend the best week in the most beautiful house in Dublin, the neibourhood is quiet and safe to walk all day, it's near the beach and Saint Anne's park which is lovely for walk and take photos. The house has tons of sunlight and always smells like natural flowers. I'm in love with the garden in the back, is like out of a fairy tale. The room is perfect, lots of space to be confortable and store things, a large private bathroom where you can take a warm shower everytime. Una is such an increadible host, she made me feel like home, always available to help with any piece of information (from how to get to somewhere, a place, even words in English I didn't know), she even drove me to my next acommodation, I couldn't ever ask for more. I'm never going to forget the time I spend in your home Una, and I'm eternaly greatful. See you and Pepsi soon, when the cherryblossoms bloom

Una and Pepsi (the cocker spaniel) are the most adorable duo. I had such a good time with them. Both welcomed me into their home and their hearts. Una is a perfect host, she is caring and kind and goes the extra mile for her guest! I will be forever grateful for the time I spent in their loving home, and will miss their company enormously. Thank you again for the hospitality and kindness
The room was beyond my expectations. The ensuite bedroom/bathroom gave me the privacy I needed after long working days. The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and even had perks of a bathrobe and slippers on arrival. I got my own shelf in the kitchen and in the refrigerator which made the homestay very pleasant too in terms of independence.
The location is great, you can take the bus (130, H1, H2, H3, X32) or dart into town. You are within 30 min in the city centre. You have access to the park and to the coast (15 min walk) which is perfect for a run or a nice walk. Nolans supermarket is just 10 min walk from the house. All in all perfect location.
If you are looking for a place to stay where you can be very independent and private but share lovely moments with the most lovely woman in Clontarf, I couldn't recommend any other place better than this.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
