Large family home close to city centre close to a variety of bus routes to get you to the city in 20 minutes. Conveniently close to Dublin airport (15 mins by car).

This home has five bedrooms and a large loft conversion with two single beds, 2 desks, own wc, and wifi. It is a busy, loved family home - bright, clean and airy with a large garden.

Christine works as Director of a faith based family centre and Bob is a bus driver. There are four teens living in the house 20/19/16 and 14 and a small dog called Banjo.

We enjoy travel, good food and meeting new people.

About the Area

From Dublin Airport - by Taxi (€18 approx) 15 minutes

From Dublin Airport - take the airport express to the city.
Get off at O'Connell Street on the bridge end
Walk down the Eden Quay (left - just before O'Connell Bridge South Bound)
At the end of the street there are bus stops lined along - take a 27 or a 15. You will need exact change and the fare is €2.85.
Ask the driver to let you out at the Odeon Cinema on the Malahide Road
When you get off the bus Cadbury Chocolate factor should be behind you and you should be facing a green space and the Odeon Cinema
Cross the road towards the cinema and take the road which runs parallel to the the cinema (there is a stream running along here) Walk towards the road you can see beyond the stream (2-3 mins) when you reach the top of the road look the your left and you will see a church - follow the path around the front of the road and you will pass a closed factory located beside the church. There is a bus stop located outside the house beside the factory. Its painted a terracotta colour and this is our home. No. 73
This whole journey from the city takes about 20 minutes.
The house is also serviced by bus routes 42/43 - if you see these you can take them once they are northbound
We can also be accessed by DART (train) which is a 20 minute walk to the station.

House Rules

No smoking permitted in the house.

Feel free to make or take a hot/cold drink but all meals are prepared by Christine.
Breakfast is informal - eat and go - a variety of cereals, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and juice is left to enjoy.
Dinner is at 6pm Monday - Friday
Dinner on Weekends it is in agreement based on who is home

Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
