Bernie was a excellent hostess. I was very welcomed by Bernie's family (all of them are very polite, indeed). The house location is great, with quick access to bus, food and entertainament. Was a wonderfull staying.

Bernie's home is a beautiful house. Very clean and comfortable. Near the city center, only 40 minutes on foot.

It was nice to stay in a Bernie house. Room and all house were very clean and tidy. Bernie and her family were friendly and answer for all my questions.
It's a good quiet place for long stay. I spended 6 days in Dublin so I had to buy bus ticket for a week because the way to city centere takes 40-45 min. by walk. I didn't want to lose time for home way. In any way I realy enjoyed time spended in a Bernie house.

I don´t recommend this family, first of all, when I get in the house there was a rules paper in my room that they didn't tell me before:
1- You can't use the kitchen when you want (from 13:30 to 14:00, and 18:30 to 19:30) and no kitchen facility after breakfast every sunday. sometimes when I was in the kitchen for get something they make me fell very uncomfortable.
2- On the website Bernie said ``Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance´´. That´s not true ; my boyfriend came to visit me, we stayed in a hotel and i asked her if he could sleep in the house only for one night and Bernie asked me for money ( 30 euros)
Michael, never told me hello or good morning. is a very rude family; you can feel they are only interested in money.
My experience in Dublin was not as good as I would have liked.

Hi Natalia, thank you for your review

As regards our home, we are very clear before you arrive as to life living with us and our home rules, which you continuously ignored. Our rules are very simple and all other students that stay with us have no problem.

As regards using our kitchen, you constantly cooked regardless of any times and left the kitchen dirty after using it, you also tried to blame the other students for this, who were not even there.

As regards your boyfriend staying with us, we said that we would prefer not to have him stay as you were booking for the two of you. We did try and facilitate your boyfriend for one night, and of course their would have been a fee as you would have to pay a fee as well.

Unfortunately your stay was also not pleasant for us as a family and for our other guests, I would hope that you do not put another family through this process of your horrible attitude, impoliteness, rudeness and the way you treat other people.

Even after all this, we still wish you the best in your future.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
