We live in a small private estate in Dublin 11 ina 4-bedroom terraced house. We have 2 grown up children and six grandchildren. So we make for a close-knit family with the laughter and sound of children always around.
We are in a great location and served well by public transport.
The bus service is less than 2 minutes walk from our home, and approx 30 minutes to Dublin City Center.
We are the perfect choice for student accommodation, as we are very close to a number of great universities.
DCU (Dublin City University) is a 30-minute walk away. There is also a bus service that will bring you to DCU.
We are also close to the DCU All Hallows Campus, which can be reached by bus.
DCU Saint Patrick's College campus is very close, and can be reached by bus in about 30 minutes, or in about 45 minutes on foot.
Marino Institue of Education on Griffith Avenue is about a 50-minute walk away.
There are plenty of parks in the area, and we are lucky to be close to the National Botanic Garden, and the Glasnevin Cemetery.

No 83 bus route is less that 2 mins the No 9 is 5 mins walk from our home. A bigger choice of bus routes is available in Finglas village , 10 minutes walk from home. Taxi rank is also available in Finglas village.

Absolutely lovely, family orientated people! I stayed with Kathleen and John for 3 night's and never once felt out of place or uncomfortable. The room was immaculate and the house was also. They left me to get on with things and were always welcoming if I was unsure of something or had a question. John is a fan of golf and definitely the type of guy I would enjoy playing a round with! Bus service to city centre was quick and only 25 mins away. Definitely worth the stay!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
