Philip was an excellent host. There was a very good atmosphere in the house, the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.
The best Place to stay while in Dublin!
A very warm welcome by our host, everything was great. Lots of facilities.
We've loved our conversations. Defenitely a second visit worth!
I was very happy staying in Philips home,
Philip help me the local knowledge and the area of Dublin, his hospitality was second to none. local shops within 5 minutes walk and a regular bus service to the city.
As others have noted, Philip is an extraordinary host. He made exceptional efforts to assist me in getting the most out of my short acquaintance visit to the Dublin area. He is a person of intelligence and quality and broad understanding. I saw that he was most kind to two younger people who were on longer term stays with him, so families can be assured their sons and daughters will be safe and have someone such as Philip backing them up in a new society.
Philip make you feeling like at Home.He is so kind and helpful.
We will come back again.
I had a great time at Philip's house. Philip was very, very kind and helpful. He even took me to show around a few sights. I felt very welcomed and safe. Thank you very much Philip, you gave me a great inuction to Irland! Greetings from Frankfurt /Germany, Andreas
Phillip will always help you if you have some problem or question. He's such a great cooker and I felt like home there for two months. After a year I came back for holiday!
philipp is the best irish guy there is!
Dear Homestay Community:
It has been almost a month since my arrival to Dublin and Philip’s residence. I reached it with the help of a taxi, which cost approximately 20 euros (from Dublin Airport). I was actually following Philip’s advice and upon our meeting he also served me a tasty stew with some bread and a dessert. Afterwards he explained the rules of living in his house and took me around the neighborhood. He was quite helpful during my stay and that made my first experience with this sort of accommodation very pleasant. Room was large enough for me and as clean as I kept it. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case with the kitchen but I ate only breakfast there so that didn’t bother me much. If one is sensitive about such things or intends to prepare more meals for herself/himself I would advise a thorough clean-up. Bathroom was tidy enough. I have no further remarks regarding Philip’s house and staying with him. Price of accommodation was good (approximately 20 euros per night). As far as the distance to city center is concerned it shouldn’t take you more than 40 minutes with Dublin Bus (I preferred No. 15).
I wish you all the best of luck with your travels and further cooperation with homestay.com services.
