Large family home, close to excellent transport links to both the city centre and the sea side (Howth & Malahide).

My twin daughters have now flown the nest, so I have two large double bedrooms available. Downstairs, we have a large sitting room at the front of the house, a second smaller sitting room adjacent and a very large kitchen-diner looking out onto the garden. The garden is west facing, so we have the sun here from early morning until late evening and there's plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy an al fresco dinner!

I have two lovely dogs named Suzi and Jenna, who are small cairn terriers and just love hugs. I'm very friendly, and would offer as much help as possible during your stay, be it about Dublin or great spots to visit in Ireland. I'll do my very best to ensure your stay in Dublin is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

About the Area

The house is set in a quiet suburb, a little out from the city centre and 10 minutes drive from the airport. A bus stops 5 mins from the house, and would have you in the city centre in 25-30 mins. Upon walking about 10 minutes from the house, you will find a main road with 5 more bus routes directly into the city centre (again 20-30 mins).

You will find a DART station 15 mins walk from the house, where you can travel by train to the sea side towns of Howth and Malahide in 10-15 mins. You can also travel to the city centre on the DART which takes about 15 mins. This service also travels to the south side of Dublin to sea side towns such as Dalkey and Dun Laoighre.

I stayed at Tina's for several months while I was doing my very first internship/work experience abroad. Tina made me feel like part of the family from the very first day. I always felt welcome every time, she is a truly friendly and caring person always there to help you out anytime.
Susi and Jenna are two amazing doggies always happy to welcome you every time you get back home. The house is simply gorgeous, comfy rooms with everything you need, very spacious and bright kitchen and a fab garden, you will really fall in love with this place.
I definitely recommend staying at Tina's, I couldn't have been more than lucky than this! Tina made my stay in Dublin & Ireland so memorable that I will definitely come back someday! Thanks a mill for your unique hospitality and kindness, Tina! x

Tina gave us a very warm welcome even though we arrived late in the evening, so we felt at home from the moment we entered her cosy house :-) She offered help at any time and made our stay very comfortable. We had a really good time in Dublin and would stay at Tina's again if we ever come back. Thanks for everything!

Tina was a perfect host. She let me do my own thing but didn't hesitate to help where she could and make my stay as comfortable as possible. We had very nice chats in the evening, I really appreciated that. The room / house was perfect to use. If I will find myself in Dublin again, I'm sure where to stay. Thanks a million Tina xxx

Tina is a good host,no problem !she bought all what we wanted to eat for breakfast, the house is good, quite calm,at 1/2h from the center by bus.It' s practical to go to the airport ,15 minutes by car , her neighbour is a taxi driver ,so easy! and +-14 euro for the way.The 2 dogs are fine too...We were 2 persons, friends , and I really have appreciated the fact that we had our own room each. The 2 rooms are nice, the beds are confortable ,it is like on the pictures ,but I had to close the window of the bedroom ,because of the noise of the quite big road ,at the garden side :but it was not too bad ...Dublin and around is nice!!: Malahide ;north ,Wicklow or Bray: south...go to some good pubs to sing and dance !
