About the Homestay
I live in a nice residential area in Castleknock in a spacious 5 bedroom house with my husband. We have 2 small friendly dogs and a fish tank. We have a large kitchen and 2 living rooms. We have a pretty back garden with a patio and love BBQs in the summer.
Our house is close to many amenities including The Phoenix Park , The Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and a short bus ride to the National Aquatic Centre. We have hosted many students for the last 20 years and you are sure of a very warm and hearty welcome. I am a water colour artist and love baking and gardening. We are also a very sporty family and there are many gyms close by.

Cherry and Bill have been wonderful host, so helpful for everything and very friendly, the home is so much confortable, clean and in a very good place, just 30 min to the center. If you have the option of make a dinner, do it. The food it's gorgeous, healthy and wonderful. They make it everything easy. It was a pleasure to be their guest.
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
The Irish are known for their warmth & friendliness, Cherry & family even more so! Her home was sweet and warm. She was happy to help with little bits of advice from public transportation to places to check out. I can't say enough positive about Cherry's homestay. If they're available for your booking do yourself a favor and send them an invite! If a room from Cherry's Homestay is not available on my next Dublin visit I will change my travel dates. This Homestay was a big part of why I fell in love with Ireland.
I really can't say enough nice things about Cherry and Billy and their lovely home. They are the kindest, most accomodating hosts.
The room was very comfortable and in such a great location! The breakfasts were absolutely grand, as were the delicious dinners. We felt so comfortable and really, really enjoyed our time in their home. If you have an opportunity to stay with this absolutely delightful family, definitely do so!!!
13/10 would highly reccommend!!!!!
I lived in Cherry's house for one month. It was a fantastic experience! Cherry and her husband are friendly and helpful about everything! They are wonderful people!!! The dogs are kindly!!! Their house is an home far home!!!
Lovely family and lovely home. We felt very welcome there.
We had a positive experience staying at Cherry for 2 weeks, a welcoming house, relaxed and safe environment. Cherry is a very kind and friendly host, always helpful with information about the city. The breakfast was delicious! The 2 dogs are very friendly and funny, and we enjoyed seeing them around. The location is great, a quiet area to come back from long walks along the busy streets of the city center.
Cherry and her family are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at her house. We really recommend to anyone who wants to come to Dublin to stay at Cherry place.
Cherry was absolutely lovely. She is a great host. She and her husband Bill are funny, nice and pleasant. Staying with them was a great experience. I recommend them to everyone who is coming to Dublin. It was a home away from home!
