Debbie and John were helpful from the very beginning. It was always nice to have a chat with them. The room also provided a lot of privacy and was very cozy!

I stayed with Debbie and John during the pandemic and I am so lucky that I could have them as my hosts! They go to great lengths to make their guests feel comfortable.
They will also help you with anything & answer all of your questions.
Warm-hearted, kind and helpful. Couldn't possibly ask for more \(^-^)/
Quiet neighborhood, cozy room and the public transport is also really close.
I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Dublin.Host reply

I stayed with Debbie and John for five months (not the easiest months, during the pandemic!). They were simply great! The location is also very good, close to the dart and in a very nice area. I wouldn't recommend enough!!

We liked to stay with Debbie and John. It's a family home. Both were easy to communicate with. Connection with City of Dublin is excellent by public transport. We enjoyed very much the surrounding villages like Malladine and Howth. By car we went there for diner. Nice restaurants at the seasite.

We have booked 2 rooms for 4 nights.
What happens to this family ? On Homestay website they pretend to be friendly and helpful …
But they gave no information about transportation in the city, no timetables, no map about the bus stop neither about the station.
When we asked about these points they said to have no knowledge because they don’t use them !
They didn’t know an didn’t say that the train doesn’t work in Sunday before 9 am, so I was at the station at 6.30 am and I had to return at their home and asked John to call a taxi for me. Fortunately, he did.
We are used to choosing Homestay to exchange with our hosts and we have been really disappointed : no exchange, only the bare minimum, they stayed in their personal space to be quiet.
The house is nice but I notice the comments are old and few in number while the rooms seem to be booked a lot.Host reply

Debbie and John were very kind hosts. I stayed in Artane for 3.5 months and really enjoyed the time there.the room was very cozy and had a perfect size and also the rooms like kitchen and bath were very nice and well equipped.
I would love to come back to Dublin and I would definitely recommend Debbie and John as a host.
Thank you very much for the great hospitality!
