About the Homestay
Myself and my 3 teenage daughters live in a large 6 bed roomed detached home in the beautiful village of Howth. We are surrounded by sea on all sides and the area is renowned for its coastal walks & spectacular views. Howth also has an abundance of gourmet restaurants and is a seafood lovers paradise., being a busy fishing port . My favorite feature of the house is that we are only a short stroll from the cliffs of Howth & 5 minute walk to the quaint fishing village with its many coffee shops, gourmet restaurants & bars. The house is located very close to the bus stop which brings you to the city centre within 40 minutes. But you won't want to leave! For golf lovers, Howth is home to one of he few public golf courses in the region and the golf course has views if Dublin bay do even if you don't like golf (like me) you'll enjoy the views.

The room and bathroom were spacious and in a lovely area. I enjoyed my conversations with Bridget.
Bridget was wonderful and welcoming, and very accommodating. Her house is full of colour and art and warmth, and it's very easy to feel like part of the family :)
Very helpful friendly host
a great place to stay.
Took care of my daughter - what more can you ask
An awesome experience ever! She is a wonderful, kind, respected person and also her daughters are really nice! If we got another chance to visit Ireland, would definitely choose them as a host family again and again
Howth è un posto bellissimo con il suo porticciolo, le passeggiata lungo la costa , il verde, le case del villagio......la casa di Bridget è bella, accogliente come la proprietaria, si apprezzerebbe ancora di più se fosse un pochino più curata.
A really nice place to stay and a very kind host family. Bridget was always a help and Howth is worth travelling. The house has a warm and friendly atmosphere and we felt welcome in any way. Our chamber and the bathroom were clean and cozy. If we visit Howth once again, we will book Bridget's home with pleasure.
We loved it. Bridget was most helpful and kind host. The house was lovely and clean, room was pretty, the bed was comfy and the place was located perfectly. Within 15 min walk you could see the most beatiful nature of Ireland, 10 min walk away from the lovely village of Howth and within 5 mins walk there's a bus stop where bus 31 will take you straight to the center of Dublin!
Thank you for the perfect holiday.
We had a very nice stay. Bridget is very kind and helps where she can, e.g. giving tips where the interesting places are ;-)
The location of her house is great: it's not far from Dublin and has a calm suburb-feeling from which one can start exploring the peninsula of Howth. Plus, it's only about 15 minutes by foot to the Dart (the local rail traffic) that takes you to Dublin for less than 4€.
Thank you very much Bridget, maybe we meet again!
