About the Homestay
Our house is located a short walk from Saint Anne's park which is one of the best parks in Dublin. The park has facilities for nearly every type of sport such as Tennis, golf, hurling, football, basketball, running and has a food market every Saturday. During summer there are festivals held in the park such as the Rose festival and the Viking festival. We also live close to Dollymount beach which has plenty of water sports such as kite surfing. There are also a multitude of gyms in the area. We live along the train line so easy access to Trinity College, and all English Language Colleges in the city of Dublin.
Raheny village is located only a 3 mins stroll away where one can find plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and the local library, banks and the train station.
There are excellent transport links to the city center with the DART (electric train) and buses located only a short distance from our house and they take you to the center of Dublin within 10 minutes. The airport is 15 minutes from the house by taxi or an aircoach bus from outside the airport to Busáras then a dart from Connolly Station to Harmonstown dart Station and the house is a 7 minute walk.
We live in a very beautiful part of Dublin so if you are keen on photography and or walks in nature. Howth, Portmarnock, Sutton, Malahide are all wonderful coastal towns to visit in 15 minutes on the train from our home. We have two dogs, Mela is a young loving well trained cross and Petri is an old very nervous tiny rescue dog, both of them are not barkers and are very well behaved, and love greeting guests, please note if you are afraid of dogs or simply do not like dogs do not book a room here.

This is a family home, please respect us and the house as you do your own. You are paying for Bed & light Breakfast only. Pay in cash on arrival or in full into my bank account before arrival. No smoking or drinking in the bedroom or anywhere in the house, I have no problem with guests going out for a sociable drink but I do have reservations about those who become very drunk as this always causes problems. All devices must be unplugged when not in use, i.e., phone/laptop chargers, hair straighteners etc. Rooms need to be kept tidy each day i.e., beds made, blinds/curtains drawn.
If you break anything in my home you must pay in full for a replacement.
You are free to come home at any time, but please be quiet for us and for the neighbours, especially between 10.30 pm and 7.00 am
It is not permitted to bring other people to our home no matter what.
No food in the bedroom, store food in kitchen presses/cupboards and fridge.
Communication of expected time of arrival required at least 24 hours in advance, latest check out time 12 noon unless otherwise agreed before booking. I expect guests to visit Dublin and the surrounding area of our home, so please do not expect to stay at home in my house all day, I work from home Mon-Fri 10am-5pm and cannot have guests sleeping all morning during the week. There is so much to explore and experience. If you are here to learn English, or studying I advise you book the morning lessons and have the afternoons free to explore. I do not allow guests to use my address for any reason.
We are here to make your stay in Dublin enjoyable so ask if you need advice with anything. By booking your place with us you are agreeing with these rules.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

Aine and her sweet dog Mila were very welcoming and friendly! Aine invited us for a cup of tea in the evening and we had some really nice conversations with her.... Like the long one about trees! Aine even offered to collect us from the train station near to her place when we arrived, which she didn't have to do, but we were very glad about it after a long day of traveling! Helena and I would definitely come back, if we are around Dublin at the end of our journey! :-))
It was a pleasure to be in Aine's house for us! She was very helpfull and lovely during all our stay. We would repeat the experience without any doubt.
Aine is very nice and she has a lovely House ! I recommend !
