Safe, family home to welcome females only over 18 only! Lovely suburb of Dublin city (foothills of the Dublin mountains), close to many large parks, shops and easy access to city centre.
We have a very big house, clean comfortable and modern 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There are 5 children aged 20, 18, 14, 12, and 9 years, a new puppy and a outdoor cat! South Dublin where the mountains, sea and city are easily accessible. The local bus network is very good and provides easy access to Dublin city on the no. 16 and the no. 14 bus. New bus route available no.175 goes directly to UCD and also the no. 17 Dublin bus goes to UCD. Our house is welcoming and busy with 5 kids so it would be good if you like kids too! All bills included including laundry, linen and high speed fibre optic broadband. Separate kitchen area to self cater with own fridge, freezer, cooker etc. Self- catering only. Room only rate.
Minimum stay one week - weekly and monthly rates only. No nightly rates. One month deposit is required to be paid on booking, in advance to secure the room (1st month's rent). Message me for more information and book quickly as big demand for these rooms.

About the Area
Good bus routes with easy access to UCD, City centre within minutes. Close to parks, shopping centres, mountains and sea all nearby. Nice hill walks nearby and parks with farmers markets at the weekends and events during the summer months.
There are gyms, swimming pools, supermarkets, pubs/bars and restaurants -all walking distance from the house. The location is a nice quiet and green area of Dublin which is a safe place to live. Suburban area mainly families about 30 minutes from Dublin city. Very safe area to live.

House Rules
Keep room clean and tidy, no smoking. Use of cooking facilities separate kitchen area can be used, these must be kept clean and tidy. Family with children so would suit a person who doesn't mind a busy family home. Our preference is for females only please.
Booking deposit required to secure the room. **Pay one month rent upfront and this goes against your first month's rent** One month's notice of cancellation required to get back deposit. Monthly payments to be made in advance. If you leave within the month you have paid for, no refund given. Contact me for details.

Catherine is very welcoming and helpful. My room was great with lots of closet space. Sharing a bathroom with the kids was no problem! I really enjoyed having a space to cook and Catherine’s house was close to several busstops. I went to school in Tallaght which was easy to reach from her home. I had a lovely time and would recommend Catherine if you are looking for a nice place to stay in a safe and friendly environment!

The big room with the double bed is huge and really beautiful; both room and bathroom were very clean. Felt at home with Catherine and her family, she offered to cook dinner for me on the first night since I landed late in the evening and on the weekends it is possible to have lovely chats. There is a handy separate kitchenette that can be used and a fridge. Their cat and dog are both adorable and the area is safe and very green. Bus lines to UCD and city center reachable with 10 mins walk, and Catherine is always very sweet if you need any help.

Catherine was a wonderful host. Her house felt like a second home, her family are kind & her dog buddy is the cutest! Catherine was accommodating, caring and helpful. The room was clean, cosy and modern. You have your own space as well as the chance to have lovely chats with Catherine in the kitchen! There's a lovely park 5 mins away that lovely for walks/exercise. I highly recommend staying with her as you'd be in good hands! :)

The double room in the second floor is really nice, it has a good view of the little garden in front of the house, and it is heading towards south so it is the warmest room in the house.
Catherine is nice and friendly, she always keeps her house very clean and tidy.
The most important thing is: her cooking skill is brilliant. The meals made by her is much more better and cheaper than the foods which can be bought in college. So if you want to save the time of cooking by yourself or to save more money than having meal in the college, it is a good choice to let Catherine cook the dinner for you (3 euro per meal). Now I have to cook by myself, and I have already begun to miss the meals cooked by her.Host reply

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
