About the Homestay
Lovely suburb of Dublin city (foothillls of the Dublin mountains), close to many large parks, shops and easy access to city centre.
We have a very big house, clean comfortable and recently renovated -7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We have one cat and 5 children aged 16, 14, 10, 9 and 5 years. South Dublin where the mountains and sea are close by. The local bus network is very good and provides easy access to Dublin city on the no. 16 and the no. 14 bus. New bus route just available no.175 goes directly to UCD. Our house is welcoming and busy with 5 kids so it would be good if you like kids too ! We've a double room to fit two people with private shower room. Or a single room with shared bathroom with the family. Contact me for negotiable rates.

About the Area
Close to parks and the bus route to Dublin city. Dundrum town centre is walking distance as is Nutgrove Shopping Centre. Nice hill walks nearby and park are very good with farmers markets at the weekends and events during the summer months.
There are gyms, swimming pools, supermarkets, pubs/bars and restaurants all in walking distance from the house. The location is a nice quiet and green area of Dublin which is a safe place to live.

Clean room, no smoking. Price is room only. Evening meal and laundry is extra. Use of cooking facilities possible at negotiable times. Monthly payments to be made in advance for bookings more than two months. Family with young children so would
suit a person who doesn't mind a busy family home. Our preference is for females only please.

The double room in the second floor is really nice, it has a good view of the little garden in front of the house, and it is heading towards south so it is the warmest room in the house.
Catherine is nice and friendly, she always keeps her house very clean and tidy.
The most important thing is: her cooking skill is brilliant. The meals made by her is much more better and cheaper than the foods which can be bought in college. So if you want to save the time of cooking by yourself or to save more money than having meal in the college, it is a good choice to let Catherine cook the dinner for you (3 euro per meal). Now I have to cook by myself, and I have already begun to miss the meals cooked by her.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
