It was an amazing time that I spent with Gabby, Kevin and their family.
I felt welcome directly after my arrival. They help you with any problems or questions you have.
Most often you find Gabby in the kitchen preparing a gorgeous breakfast, sandwiches and dinner.
When Kevin isn’t at work he loves to invite you on a drink while chatting or watching television.
The house is clean and tidy and Gabby washes your clothes nearly every day.
It is located 3min from the Luas Stop Kingswood and it takes ~30min to the city centre.
I highly recommend this family if you want to visit Ireland!!
I hope to see you again :)
Gabrielle and Kevin are two of the most friendly and sincere people I have met here in Dublin. The overall atmosphere they provide is welcoming and a home away from home. I could not have been more lucky to have stayed with them my first week; from the home cooked meals to the warmhearted company, either from Gabrielle and Kevin to the other tenets staying there, I look forward to coming back soon.
My stay with Kevin & Gabby was absolutely amazing, they are very welcoming, helpful, friendly & kind. Gabby's food is very delicious, I enjoyed the breakfast, launch, and dinner which she makes every day. Especially the lovely Irish breakfast which she makes on Saturday. Kevin is a lovely person to talk to, he is very interesting and you can talk to him about anything, and you can ask him for advice about where to go in Dublin and watch movies with. The house and room are very clean. The house is only 2 minutes away from the tram, which is 25 minutes to the City Centre and 10 minutes to Tallaght hospital (for those who are doing an internship in Tallaght hospital, its a very good place to stay in).
The neighborhood is very peaceful and beautiful.
At first, you will feel at home but in the end, it will be your home.
It was great meeting you and I hope to see you again in the future!
Thank you Gabby & Kevin
Gabrielle and Kevin are great people, very welcoming and kind. You’ll have an amazing stay with them just like we did. Gabrielle makes the best coffee in Dublin and Kevin is very interesting and funny. It’s very easy to go from their house to the city centre and the airport. We look forward to going back there and meet with them again.
Firstly I was little bit worried with Homestay (first time ever). But Gabrielle and Kevin prove me wrong. They are very friendly, their house and rooms are clean and tidy. It is actually better then hotel. Gabrielle is amazing cooker . Every day she was interested with my comfort. I would definitely recommend this Home to say..
I don't even know where to start with this review. My stay in Dublin was the most lovely and amazing experience ever, mostly due to staying over at Gabby And Kevin's place. From the moment I stepped into their house, Gabby made me feel like I was at home. They were so welcoming, caring and generous. Gabby's homecooked dinners were beyond delicious, they were amazing and I probably gained some weight from all her delicious cooking. She even gave me a packed lunch to take out with me for the day and it was the sweetest thing and so convenient. Gabby even takes your clothes and washes them for you, something my mother wouldn't even do for me. The room itself was very cute and tidy and had a nice large wardrobe, the bed was comfortable and the location of the house was excellent, only a 5 min walk to the luas line.
I was really sad to leave at the end of my stay, I asked Gabby and Kevin to adopt me so I can live with them forever haha. I will definitely be coming back to stay here again if I visit Dublin, even though I'm most likely going back to Dublin purely to visit Gabby and kevin again.
Cannot recommend this place enough!!!!
Thakyou Gabby and Kevin, I love you guys!!!!
Nice family , tasty Irish meals prepared everyday , clean house, room was good for a single person, close to public transportation, laundry taken care by host. Gabrielle and Kevin are excellent hosts and very friendly people I have ever met in my life. Flying again to Ireland soon and hope to meet you all in Dublin. Thanks for your hospitality.
This family is wonderful. They help you with everything you need and make you feel at home. Thanks Gabrielle and Kevin.
Stayed with Gabby and Kevin for one week.
Made to feel so at home and as part of the family.
Gabby goes above and beyond taking care of you. Wonderful breakfast and dinners, even doing your washing. You will feel like your fairy godmother is with you.
Thank you both for making my stay just wonderful, I will be back!! Xx
