Debbie and Al live in a Canadian Log House. We also have two cats that live outside. we are 1mile from the local village and a 20min drive to the busy Galway city. Craughwell village has three pubs playing traditional Irish music on occasional weekends. Our house is clean tidy and comfortable. A car is a must to get around.

Great conversation around the breakfast table. Gave us great tips going forward to Dingle Peninsula. Loved relaxing on the porch, snuggling Ginger the cat. Fekkin lovely!

Well what an amazing couple . So warm and welcoming, a comfy large bed, beautiful home . Set in amongst the bush. I even was invited to share a dinner with them. We laughed and chatted and just had a really lovely time. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay a special o e.

J'ai séjourné 2 mois chez Debbie et Al et je me suis senti comme chez moi . Ils m'ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux et également à mon chien Petsy qui m'accompagne . J'ai utilisé leur cuisine pour mes repas et ils m'ont également lavé mon linge . Nous avons partagé nos cultures et nos recettes de cuisine et ils m'ont fait découvrir leur pub préféré , le Glynn's à Oranmore où nous avons passé de belles soirées musicales . Je resterai certainement en contact avec eux ; une belle adresse en Irlande , tout près de Galway et de l'océan .

we had a really great stay at Debbie and Al's. A beautiful house surrounded by nature. We had a great evening together, laughed and talked a lot. The room was really spacious and nicely decorated. We had a great breakfast provided by Debbie and shared breakfast with Al. The two were able to give us good tips for our further journey, which we gladly accepted and will now implement. Debbie and Al are the most welcoming hosts, kind and helpful in any way. The house is absolutely beautiful (ah that stunning porch), surrounded by nature, quiet and clean. It is well equipped with everything you need for everyday life. Our room was spacious and tidy, with an open closet full of clean bed linen and towels to use, and a lot of hangers for our clothes. The bed was very cosy and we slept like babies. In the kitchen, Debbie made sure there was always enough of everything for a tasty breakfast. We had a wonderful time. Thank you wonderful hosts!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
