Whether you are staying as a student, employee or a holiday maker, you are welcome to my home. Local amenities available within a walking distance is Sheridan's Pub (beer house and restaurant) and Clybaun Stores (shop), Clybaun Hotel and leisure center, three supermarkets and other shopping outlets, there are several pharmacies in the area.
Do you enjoy the outdoors? Barna woods is our local park and small forest within a walking distance that offers beautiful woodland scenery and tranquil walks with earthy smells to tickle the senses. Just past the woods, you can find the breath-taking beach Silver Strand which has a safe, shallow, sandy beach bounded on one side by a cliff. It is particularly popular with young families and faces directly into Galway Bay giving spectacular views of Salthill. Also, note that you will be within 5 minutes drive from the Wild Atlantic Way with more fantastic views and scenery to be discovered.
Breakfast is not provided but guests are welcome to use the kitchen up until 10 pm to cook your creations.
Please be sure to complete your booking as fast as you can to secure your dates as often multiple interests occur. If you are traveling on a budget, Discounts are available. Just ask and I will do my very best to accommodate you. Looking forward to meet you.
Guest Information:
1: Rent to be paid weekly.
3: After using kitchen all utensils and cutlery to be washed and put away, this includes cleaning cooker and oven.
4: I have an early start every morning so unfortunately the washing machine and or dryer cannot be in use after 10 pm.
5: After using shower, please mop the floor to remove excess water and open window after to dry out the steam.
7: Please leave the facilities the way you found it in all rooms {clean and tidy}.
This keeps the place accessible for all occupants and makes the home a happy place!

About the Area
The bathroom is shared and wheelchair accessible including the shower area which is a walk in (wet floor/drive in from wheelchair) shower. If you are a wheelchair user, don't be afraid to ask questions to make sure that the access matches your needs. The bed is roughly 42 cm high, 175 cm in length and width 123 cm. The use of the kitchen is available from 10 am till 11 pm. Food is not provided for cooking. Also, I am able to collect you all from Galway city to bring you to your accommodation upon request.

Arun was a really nice guy. Chatting with him at night was really a good experience. The room was big enough for me to use alone and also kitchen, bathroom was all in good shape as well. If you are planning to visit Galway, I would definitely reccommend Arun's.

Arun is a kind and accommodating host, very friendly and cheerful. The house is comfortable and in a nice part of Galway, with quick access by bus to the town center. I would happily stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

Simple room and shared bathroom at 5 min from Galway city center. we comfortably stayed in three persons in the room. Nice place without problem for parking. The host is a great person, available for any suggestion. Very good place where to stay and good balance quality/price.

We were road tripping around Ireland and we had already planned to stay with Arun in Galway. He sent through all the information days before our arrival and was very accomodating when we didn't arrive until very late. His place is lovely, warm, homely and Arun is a great person to have as your host. Arun even let us stay an extra night at very late notice and was very helpful with local information. We can't wait to stay with him again next time :)
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
