Wonderful house with great views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands, truly lovely hosts and great accommodations with modern comforts in a very traditional locale. A truly pleasant stay, highly recommended for anyone who desires to experience the beauty of Connemara and the wonderful hospitality and friendliness of people who live literally on the one of the furthest edges of the world. As one of the local inhabitants said, "After Golham Head... [a lookout tower built during the Napoleonic wars on the furthest piece of land west on the island of Lettermullan]... there's only New York." You have to ask and look for them but there are great beaches amidst, "all the rocks you can eat," and many beautiful panoramas and sights everywhere. The pubs on nearby neighbouring islands - all linked by causeways - offer rich cultural experiences, with true Irish music in one or another on many days of the week, much of it folkloric. It's a place where Irish is the spoken tongue and English is a second tongue. Cait's house and wonderful hospitality offers a doorway to a series of exceptional experiences. I can only wish that I'd spent more than the 6 nights I had there and it's certainly a place I want to return to.

Cait and her husband are really nice people. Cait told us a lot about the region and the places we should go to visit. Everyday there was a lovely breakfast set for us in the morning. The rooms were being cleaned every day and Cait offered to put our jeans and jumpers in the washing machine. They were returned proper and neatly folded. Unfortunately at the time we spend our holiday with the family they were about to build up the first floor so it was a bit noisy sometimes at the end of the week. Of course we understand that these works have to be carried out at a certain time but if we had been told before we would have spend our holidays somewhere else. After one week's stay we had done anything that could be visited so we left earlier. Cait's home is situated in a region where you have to drive miles to get to the nearest pub or even the nearest supermarket. It seems to be complicated with public transports so you should have a car. It is a good place if you have children as they are always lots of children around to play with.

The Cait’s house is in a very beautiful place! Cait is very friendly and nice. But it’s complicate if you want to travel only by bus or train; you’re forced to rent a car. A good place if you travel by car
