I enjoy meeting people and provide them with a comfortable, warm home during their stay. Galway is known as The City of The Tribes , Guests can explore Galway & all its charm. Galway Racecourse is approx 10 minute walk from our home. The bus stop that will bring you into town and onto Salthill is 2 minute walk from our home and runs every 15 minutes. You can have full use of our kitchen. I enjoy meeting people and provide them with a comfortable, warm home during their stay.

About the Area
Our home is located on the East side of the city in a quite neighbourhood, The bus stop is a 2 minute walk from our home and it will bring you into town, NUI and also Salthill. Excellent Bus service
Galway Race Course is 15 minute walk from our house. Gym - Kingfisher is approx 5 minute as is The Connacht Hotel . The Catholic Church is 5 minutes from our house.

Margaret is a loving and open host who is always there for her guests. She is very welcoming and always eager to look after the needs of her guests. We did a few things together and it was lovely to have someone from the area with me who could explain some things to me.The room and everything around was very clean and furnished with great attention to detail. I had a very nice time at her house and was very sad when I had to leave.I would love to come back .

It was my first experience with Homestay and it couldn't have been better!
The house was clean and very cozy with everything a person could need.

Margaret's house has a small room with toilet inside it, which was cozy enough for 1 person. Margaret and Liam was so friendly and nice that I could have spent my time in Galway very comfortable:) Thank you so much!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
