My home is in a quiet estate close to the city, sea and countryside with the bus stop to the city, which is renowned for its festivals, food, pubs, cafes, music and theatre, just 5 minutes walk away. There are 3 bedrooms in total, 1 guest bathroom and a good-sized kitchen with a spacious dining area beside it. The dining area opens out onto a patio and lovely back garden with a barbeque and greenhouse. I love both cooking and gardening, so you can enjoy some really tasty home-made treats from time to time. I have a Jack Russell dog called Trooper who is also sure to give you a very warm welcome. The minimum booking period for all rooms is two nights and breakfast comprises a healthy feast of granola, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, jams, tea/coffee.
Additional Info
I speak German and some basic French and elementary Italian. Parking is available.

Mary is a super host! Not only her home is full of character (I really liked the wooden furniture and the little african style statuettes), but it's clean and tidy and cozy. She is a nice person who will help you if you need any information about tronsports or the surroundings. We liked to have some little chat with her in the morning, and to play a bit with little Trooper, the house mascotte! I definitely recommend to stay with her, If I'm back to Galway I'll sure be back to her homestay!

We stood at Marys house for 5 days and it was great! Marys house is very nice, cosy and clean. Mary and her dog are fantastic hosts: very friendly, helpful and reliable. She gave us a lot of very helpful tips f.e. what trips we could do or how to drive into the city center of Galway by bus, which takes about 20 minutes. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruits und delicious cereals. We also enjoyed the very nice chat with Mary. Thanks a lot for our great stay! We absolutely recommend a stay at Marys house!

Mary is a fantastic person and I higly recommend staying at her place. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, we had a fantastic breakfast every day and full information about what to see in the city and any explanation needed. It is quite easy to get to the city without a car. We had a grat time!

We were well looked after by Mary, the house was a bit further out than we would have liked . Her breakfast was good and rooms clean. Downsized was the lack of hot water in the bathroom due to a broken Immersion and that there was no facilities to make a cup of Tea even if there was a Kettle somewhere and we took in our own teabags etc that would have helped.

La casa era in una zona molto tranquilla, vicino alla fermata del bus e al centro commerciale ed era pulita. Mary era molto ospitale, premurosa a fornirci qualsiasi informazione e la mattina ci preparava una buona colazione.

Mary was reliable and helpful, a truly trustworthy host. Her house was impeccably clean and neat and the room was nice and cosy. Homemade breakfast was good and the house is located at a 20 minute bus ride from the center of Galway. It was a good experience staying with Mary and I recommend it.

Mary was a wonderful host, and her dog too :D Every morning we had a nice breakfast with fresh fruits salad. Sometimes we were lucky to taste delicious fruits from her garden!! She advised us about what to visit around Galway and even came to pick up at the coach station when we arrived. We really had a good time talking to her and playing with her dog ;)
