Our home is 4 bed, 3 bathroom house. It is located very centrally in Dublin 4 area of the city. We have two living area's and a large kitchen, looking out onto a south facing back garden.
Our home is located 5 minutes from Sandymount Beach and 20 minute walking distance to Dublin City Centre.
Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Our house has all mod cons with a TV in every communal room.

We are flexible and want every guest to be as comfortable as possible. If there's something you need / want - just ask, we will do our very best to accommodate you.

About the Area
Our home is located on the South side of Dublin city very close to the city centre called Irishtown. It is located on the South coast, 5 minutes to Sandymount village and beach. Sandymount has multiple trendy bars and restaurants. There are various modes of transport available from Irishtown - train & bus - making travel between North and South parts of Dublin very accessible. Both the bus & train stops are only 5 minutes walk from our home and there are lots of bus numbers and train options available at these stops.

Jenny and Ger were the kindest hosts! Cozy, very comfortable, well-kept home. They were there to help me whenever I needed it, and just lovely to talk with in general. I would love to stay with them again!

Great location if you're looking for proximity to city centre, as well as Royal Dublin Society convention center. I was in town for work/pilgrimage/leisure 10 days and I had work to do for 3 days at RDS Convention hall and it was a beautiful brisk 25 minute walk from this homestay I was ever thankful for! I wish I could have spent more time seeing this beautiful neighborhood and its nearby beach but was rushed with many things to do between work/travel as I hadn't been in Dublin in 7 years. This is a lovely couple and the location is wonderful. Great neighbors, great neighborhood overall. Not far from a couple neat pubs -Irishtown and Merryvale. Highly recommended!

I lived four weeks at Jenny and Ger Powers House and I really enjoyed my time there and in Dublin in general!
The house is really central regarding the walking distance to city centre, supermarkets, parks and the beach. The neighbourhood is really friendly and peaceful.
My room was absolutely perfect - clean, bright and comfortable. Jenny and Ger are so warm-hearted and really make it a home from home.
I can really recommend staying with the Powers and would always consider it again.June 2018

You cannot expect a better experience in a home stay better than here!
I am an exchange student from China who stayed in Dublin for four months. Ringsend is a well-connected location which is so close to the city center that I walk to school everyday. And it takes you less than half an hour to walk to Dublin bus station, national museum or other main tourist attractions. it is also convenient to find a bus to get to the airport. What is more important is that Mr. and Mrs. Power were so kind and warm-hearted. You may easily find all Irish people quite helpful, but Mr. and Mrs. Power were more than just "helpful". They will give you every instruction you need about the house as well as surviving in Dublin, and they will always ready to help whenever you need. Mr. Power even gave me a lift to the airport when I leave Ireland! I really enjoyed my stay there, and I strongly recommended everyone who are expecting a pleasant long-term visit in Dublin consider Mr. and Mrs. Power.April 2018

How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
