There were pros and cons to this visit:
Pros: The bus stop and beach were a short walk away. My room was very comfortable and clean. I got to eat an Irish breakfast. Linda was very kind, took me to get food, and informative about the buses.
Cons: She didn't tell me that her partner lived with her, both she and her partner do smoke, she did not personally make me a breakfast, two of my four nights I was awaken by Linda's partner because he forgot his key. I was a little scared being all alone in the house. I booked with Linda because according to her description she would provided the three things I need as a traveler with a medical condition: a quiet place to sleep, a breakfast (in the morning), a non-smoking home which I saw when I first booked her.
With Homestays in general just keep in mind that anything can be promised. As a host Linda is very nice and friendly and I wish her the best.Host reply

Linda was very helpful during my homestay with her. She encouraged me to visit various places in Ireland and her attitude toward me was kind, considerate and selfless. The room where I stayed had all of the amenities one could want and I am thankful for her generous hospitality!

Due to my flight getting cacelled, I was only able to stay with Linda for about 24 hours. But we made the most of it. Linda is warm and friendly and counts it a joy to help her guests get the most of their stay. My room was clean and private. Her house was immaculate. It is a few steps from the beach which is what I really wanted to see. We had gorgeous weather and wonderful conversation. She helped me get a LEAP card and drove me for a little sightseeing as I didn't hire a car. The coach to Dublin City center runs right in front of her housing complex. Hope this helps. I recommend her. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe and comfortable .
