Free airport pickup available sometimes but please agree with me in advance to ensure I am available. Large 5 bedroom detached house in Malahide. 2 minutes walk to the bus stop & 20 minutes walk to the train to Dublin & the beach. Separate lounge/ TV room with Netflix; fridge, microwave and air fryer plus table and chairs and comfy couch. This is a beautiful area and much sought after area, very safe and the village has all amenities required. Enjoy long beach walks on "white strand beach" or the stunning coastal walk from Malahide to Portmarnock. Visit Malahide Castle & Gardens or play tennis or pitch in putt all within 20 minutes walk. Checkin after 4pm

I found Sharon to be an exceptional host, and her whole family is friendly and welcoming. Her house is gorgeous, very clean, warm and with a nice vibe / family atmosphere, felt like being at home - made me feel a part of her family, but also let me do my own thing and she was discreet, laid back and relaxed. Sharon was really helpful with places to go and directions and an interesting person to chat with. She is thoughtful, for example offering to cook scrambled eggs for me (it was very good) and kindly drove me to the station / collected. The bed is very comfortable and the guest room tranquil, with nice decor / pictures and a lovely view of the garden. The house was quiet and peaceful at night, as well as during the day. Malahide is a very beautiful, characterful village with a stunning coastline and a beach with soft sand and brilliant, huge waves. It was an easy 15 mins walk into the centre of Malahide, plus there is a Dart (train) station with easy access to Dublin city centre. I really enjoyed this homestay and would very much like to stay again with Sharon on future visits to Ireland. I highly recommend. Thank you, Sharon!

Super séjour chez Sharon! Accueil charmant car elle est venue nous chercher à l'aéroport. Quartier très calme près de l'arrêt du bus. Très belle chambre et très bons lits. Petit déjeuner que nous prenions à notre guise puisqu'elle nous laissait sa cuisine à disposition. Comme nous ne connaissions pas l'anglais, nous avons communiqué par WhatsApp en traduisant nos messages grâce à une application. Pas de soucis.
Attention, renseignez-vous bien sur le bon sens du bus 42 si vous voulez aller à Dublin. Il faut partir vers Malahide! Mais les horaires ne sont vraiment pas toujours fiables.Host reply

Very kind and helpfull personn with a nice family! We had a small room in a big house wtih private bath and access to a special place where to eat and rest and speak together ...
Sharon is always ready to inform and she takes care of her hosts. Wish to come back one day and more! Malahide is half hour train to Dublin , close to seaside and pleasant village with restaurants and shops and port.August 2022
Sharon and the whole family have been incredibly kind! Sharon is helpful, available if needed, but discreet. We were independent. The house and the garden are perfect, very welcoming, the bedroom and the bathroom are very clean. We had a wonderful stay with Sharon, and Malahide is a great town and strategically very easy for Dublin center and airport. The places to go in Ireland!! Thank you for everything!!

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
