About the Area
Our house and the apartment are located in a quiet cul de sac 2 mins from the bustling village of Rathmines. Rathmines is an extension of town these days and a walk into town takes you past dozens of bars and restaurants. 30metres from the house there is a bus stop that goes into town although it's very walkable too. The Luas (light railway) is 7 mins walk from the house.

Aoife and her family made me feel so welcome, gave me space to live independently and helped me find my feet in Dublin again. I'd recommend anyone looking for a nice, central place to stay in a beautiful neighbourhood to give this a go.
It was such a pleasure to stay with this amazing family. Caring, funny, respectful - they are absolut lovely. The room is bright, quiet and cosy, in the kitchen is a good coffee machine and Rathmines is a wonderful aera in Dublin. Next time i will definitely stay there again.
It was the best place I could have imagined to stay for my 2 months in Dublin. From the first day I felt like home and I will really miss them and their beautiful home!
I was warmly welcomed and was soon allowed to feel part of this great family. Pleace come with good manners in this house! The room was very nice, clean and basically the own area. The location is great too, as it is not far to the city center. I had a really nice time and I am so grateful for all the nice moments together with Aoife and her family. My heart stays here. X
I really enjoyed my stay. People are so nice and friendly that I already miss them. Thanks so much Aoife, I can't wait next visit!
