Anne was the best host you would ever imagine! She was like a "mom" to us. She helped me and my wife a lot! She told me the short cut to places, she bought us food, she even help my wife to get a library card!
The room is nice with a huge wardrobe that could fit our 5 bags. The bathroom is very clean everyday. She also let us use the kitchen.
The location great! The bus to city center is just across the street. The ringsend park is just 2 minutes walking away. Grand canal docks where most of offices is 5 minutes walking amd theres a lot of convenient store and take away food in the area.
Anne is very lovely and I definitely recommend you guys to stay with her .
It was a pleasure to meet Anne. She kindly accepted to host my parents during their recent one-week stay in Dublin aimed at visiting me, caring about their comfort and offering them daily fresh breakfast. She also invited me to join them in the house at any time, although I was not an official guest. I really appreciated that. The location of the house is brilliant, since it is in the heart of Ringsend, right beside the rich and modern Grand Canal Dock Square and near the city centre, which can be reached in not more than 15 minutes walking along the Liffey or on Pearse Street. Same proximity to the peaceful southern areas along the canal. No needs to use public transports, therefore, although there are several comfortable buses connections between the house and the centre. Anne was always available for chats, both via message and in person. Wen my parents came, indeed, although I had already been living in Dublin for one year and two months, I learned a lot from her advice concerning the city and in general the country. The familiar atmosphere, in other words, is the main characteristic of Anne's house. We will surely keep in touch, Anne. Armando
We slept in the double room. It is a very quiet area and not far from town, so you can explore everything by walking. Anne is very kind and helpfull. She made breakfast and tea in the morning, we also could prepare our lunch and we had some good talks together. The time flew by. Thanks for everyrhing.
I had a really good time in Dublin and one of the reasons was because Anne offered a really lovely and caring place to stay. During time it more and more became a home far away from home.
Anne always gave me good advices what to do in Dublin and which places are a must seen. The place of the host is not far from the city center so I could walk home after some long nights in the Pubs;) but theres also a bus stop two minutes away where every ten minutes you can catch a bus at day time.
I can higly recommend this host and I'm looking forward to come back somewhen.
Anne has been like my mum there. I stayed for a month and she helped me a lot with all I needed. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, near to the beach, near to the city center. I went to the city center by foot and it takes about 25min.
I totally recomend this house. Anne will make you feel like in your home because she is lovely, friendly.
I'll return to Anne's house when I go to that magic city without a doubt!
Thank you for all Anne!
We would like to thank Anne for that lovely stay at her home. She is very friendly, helpful and the house is in one of the best and central areas of Dublin...just a 3 minute footwalk (over the East Link Bridge) away from the 3arena (we have seen U2 there 2 times), Ringsend/Irishtown, Grand Canal Docks... The room was small but clean (a chair/table would be great) and well enough for sleep. Bathroom is comfortable and in a very good shape. She made us a small breakfast everyday (coffee, white toast bread, marmelade, fruits)...friendly smalltalks included :-) in her kitchen downstairs. She also asked for some specials like chocolate muffins or what kind of bread we like. All in all, she is a lovely and helpful person.
Anne also arranged a car parking place for our rental car, right in front of the housedoor...Thank you very much Anne !
You have some Pub´s just around the corner and it is possible to buy some stuff you need for the daily life (soap, shampoo, water, chocolate) in a small SPAR-Market. City-Centre is a 25 minutes walk away, straight through the modern Harbour/Business-Area where some of the biggest business players are located like Google and Facebook or you go straight by the Riverside right to the city centre, O´Connell Bridge, Temple Bar Area etc...
If you planning a trip to Dublin, so Anne is really a brilliant choice. Thank you very much and Bennedikt, all the best for your future :-)
Anne is a really nice host! She has taken care of us and helped us in anyway possible. I definitely recommend staying with her if you want to feel like home. Thank you Anne for such an amazing stay in Dublin :)
