Enyoy the openess of the wild Atlantic way. We are situated 10 min walk from lovely Westport town, on the leenane road which is the gateway to north connemara, we have a view of croagh patrick & are within walking distance to the greenway/cycle track & Westport Quay. Many pubs & restaurants are close by as Westport is blessed with fabulous restaurants that suit all budgets. Most bars have music & are lively.We are a pet friendly house so we allow you to bring your dog provided they have their own bedding & food. We have Dogs & Cats so our house is very busy.

We are situated 1.km from Westport town, you can get to our home using high street or peter street directions,we are close to restaurants & bars & all tourist attractions in Westport. We are within walking distance to the greenway/cycle track.

Smoking is not allowed in the house but guests can smoke outside.
Payment can be made by cash on arrival or direct online 2 days before. Breakfast is available at a discount rate but needs to be ordered the day before.
Guests can use kitchen in afternoon only subject to a time agreed.
I expect guests to be honest & respect my property & privacy when using the kitchen.

Colette is a lively woman and she'll make sure that you get comfortable in her house.

Collette collected me from the station.
The room was clean and comfortable and en suite toilet
A bit unsure where to eat breakfast next morning.
Husband had to ask.
Was told I would have to 'look after myself in the morning' as my hosts would be away.
As a non doggy person I was prepared for the presence of one, as per the photo on the website, what I wasnt prepared for was 5, 4 of which were their own.
However their absence the next day could be considered a blessing as doggies went too
Nice people though and good with local information.

Thank you for your review, however Homestay is cheap & cheerful, if you want a registered b&b or hotel please book one & pay the fee. The concept of homestay is for the person to intergrate with other people in the house, instead my other guests had to leave the table as you clearly did not want to share the table or communicate with them . I have dogs, hence ‘pet friendly’ & i was also taking care of a friends dog, you could have left the next day if you were afraid of dogs & in future dont book a pet friendly house. As i stressed im not a registered b&b. I didn’t appreciate my books being thrown under the bedroom chair which are left for people to read. The house is a home not a business

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
