I live in a modern family home with my husband and our two girls on a country lane 12 miles from Wexford town in the sunny south east of Ireland. We both love the country and my family farm is right beside us where my Mum lives, who comes to visit often with freshly baked scones and brown bread. We love to cook and bake in our lovely kitchen as we enjoy fine food and wine. We also love to play and listen to music, listing to a wide selection of music from jazz to Irish to country to folk. We go to some of the many beaches which are close by and we love to be out in the country air. I was born in this part of the world and although my husband comes from the city he loves the country. We have a developing garden with flower beds and vegetable beds which keep us busy. Our house is very modern and was only built 6 years ago. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have big windows that let in the light and we enjoy spending time watching the world go by on our patio. We have a shed full of bikes, gardening equipment and sports equipment. We have an office where my husband works and where we like to retire to when we both feel like reading and writing which we both enjoy very much. Wexford town is only 12 miles away which has all facilities, shops, entertainment etc.

Parking available. We speak English in our home.I speak Irish as I teach it in school. My husband speaks fluent French and I speak a little French!

About the Area
Our house is one mile up a country lane, three miles from local shops, post office, supermarkets. It is 12 miles from nearest big town Wexford with all amenities. We are 50 minutes from Waterford city and airport. We are 25 minutes from Rosslare Port which links to Le Havre and Cherbourg. The train station is located in Wexford town. We are 2 hours from Dublin and its airport. Cork city is also 2 hours from us.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
