I love meeting people from all over the world. My home is near central Jerusalem in the quiet and modern Arnona Ha'tzeira neighborhood, it's an excellence base to explore the new and the old cities of Jerusalem. Quiet street, nice breeze, great views…
I have 1 bedroom available with Double Bed, Hair-dryer, Closet / Wardrobe, Desk and Lamp. My interests range from learning foreign languages to watching movies.
I enjoy socialising, watching movies, learning foreign languages, and travel. I speak English, Hebrew, Russian, and Spanish

About the Area
My home is located in Arnona Ha'tzeira, which is near the center of Jerusalem. All necessary services are close to the apartment ( convenience stores, supermarkets, post office, banks, pharmacies). Public buses stop 50 mts. from the apartment.
There is a beautiful promenade and lovely gardens near the apartment. It's an excellence base to explore the new and the old cities of Jerusalem.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Please keep the home secure and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house.
Keep noise to a minimum after 11 p.m., please.

Payment Method: Please note that the guest is required to pay me in advance 50% of the booking total to hold the room (on top of the 15% service fee paid to Homestay.com). Payment will be made through PayPal The guest shall bear all the costs associated with the transfer of funds to the host account by adding the amount of 5% to the transferred sum.
The balance will be paid in cash or through PayPal upon the arrival of the guest.
Cancellation Policy: I ask my guests to give me at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded. In another case, the refund for cancellation is 50% of the advance.

It was a very pleasant stay at Haim's home. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. One can ask all sorts of questions concerning Israel, for example about the history and the Jewish culture - he would give genuine answers. One can learn a lot of new things during the stay. In my case I got introduced into Israeli classic rock and folk music. I would definitely recommend anyone who is open for new experiences to stay in Haim's place: you'll never regret!

The building was nice and quiet close to a great park and grocery store and only a half hour walk to the old city Shallom

The room was very clean, comfortable and had its own bathroom. The house is next to a bus station with the bus going to the heart of the city from where the old city, the train and bus stations and many ships are within walking distance. Haim is a great host, very kind and always ready to help.

In a word ... perfect.
Haim is a charming and helpful person. He lives in a modern neighborhood, his house is very practical and well equipped. There is everything you need for a playsant stay. Bus 78 nearby, and you are in town very quickly.
Amazing, you have a view of the old town from the public garden, a must for Photographers.
You want to have a peace of mind with your stay in JRS... this is the right choice.June 2017
Seriously go & stay with Haim! He's in a great spot with a bus stop just out the door. My wife & I stayed with Haim for 9 nights. Haim was accomodating, friendly, informative & just a very nice family man. The area of Arnon is safe with a beautiful promenade/garden walk overlooking the Old City, The Mount of Olives, The Dome, a great selfie spot!
When we hit a wall, Haim helped us through it & helped us get back on track, he is a Skype legend!
I hope to return to Jerusalem next year & I would like to stay with Haim again.

For those looking for a spotlessly clean, quiet place to stay in a safe, lovely neighborhood with a thoughtful host Haim's flat is definitely to be recommended. It is not close to the sights of Jerusalem or to any night life, but there is a bus stop to the center and beyond across the street.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
