Bertha y Fidel viven en una casa de dos pisos, al Este de la Ciudad de la Habana, excelente opción para que el huésped disfrute de las vacaciones de Sol y Mar y se deleite caminando entre las bellas Plazas, Castillos y Fortalezas. La casa se ubicada a solo 10 minutos en coche de las playas de arenas del este de la capital y a menos de 7 minutos de La Habana Vieja, que se llega cruzando un túnel por debajo de la Bahía, en 5 minutos puede encontrar el Complejo turístico o Parque Histórico Morro-Cabaña y el Cristo de Casa Blanca, estamos exactamente a unos metros del Complejo deportivo Villa Panamericana.
Ofertamos servicio de desayuno opcional, tiene un precio de 5 USD/Euros por adulto y 3 USD/Euros por niño, cafe, leche, te, tostadas, mantequilla, mermelada, miel, huevo o tortilla, samwich, zumo natural y frutas, lo servimos al aire libre en la terraza.

La nostra casa si trova a est della città dell'Avana, siamo a 7 km da L'Avana Vecchia, questa zona è conosciuta come la distribuzione residenziale Antonio Guiteras, conosciuta anche come Bahía Distribution, perché confina con la Baia dell'Avana, è molto tranquilla e certo, a 10 minuti di macchina si possono trovare le bellissime spiagge sabbiose (Bacuranao, Santa Maria (Tropicoco), Boca Blind, Guanabo) e meno di 7 minuti attraversando il tunnel che va sotto la baia, può raggiungere l'Avana Vecchia , patrimonio dell'umanità.
La fermata dell'autobus è a soli 2 minuti a piedi dalla casa (0,40 centesimi in valuta nazionale), inoltre una stazione di taxi di taxi molto economici (valuta nazionale / 10,00 pesos cubani / più o meno è uguale a 0,50 euro) a persona in su il Campidoglio dell'Avana.
La nostra casa si trova a pochi metri dal complesso sportivo Villa Panamericana, che dispone di campi da tennis, stadio, velodromo, negozi, banca, ristorante, discoteca, piscina, troverete anche la spiaggia di rocce di Cojimar a solo 1 1/2 km di distanza. Il ristorante Las Terrazas, con i suoi frutti di mare esotici, scelti dallo scrittore Ernest Hemingway, durante i suoi lunghi soggiorni a Cuba.

We had a great stay with Bertha and Fidel, they were so welcoming and helpful with all aspects of our trip. Amazing food and clean comfortable accomodation. Fidel acted as our taxi for a lot less than local taxis would have cost us and even took us back to the airport in the early hours of the morning! Would definitely recommmend them to anyone visiting Havana.

There was no better way to feel how Cuba is like. Bertha and Fidel and everybody around made me feel right at home. The house was very beautiful and clean. The went beyond to make sure i had a good stay. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, The family was super friendly and open. Also they had Osmani picking me up and bringing me to the airport. He was supernice and went the extra mile to help me. Muchas gracias for making my stay in Cuba very special.

I could not stay at our house, because of your sudden change of date, I felt very worried, but since my sister Anita's house is also promoted on this website, I did not think it would be a big problem and everything went well. My husband and I visited Cuba March 13-20, 2017 and we stayed at Bertha and Fidel's house the whole week. It was amazing! They are such wonderful, genuine, and kind people. Extremely helpful and caring! They treat you like real family. The room my husband and I stayed in was perfect! VERY clean and comfortable. Perfect for the entire week we stayed there. The location of the home is great too! Just 7 minutes away from central Havana by bus. The bus stop is just about a five minute walk from the house as well. the area is also very safe. Bertha will offer to have someone pick you up from the airport for just around $30 cuc. TAKE THE OFFER. I thought I would be able to find a cheaper ride from the airport, but boy was I wrong. We were charged $50 cuc by a taxi guy that told us the house was going to be an hour away and that he was giving us a discount. He ended up driving in circles just to make the time go by slower. In reality it only takes 25 minutes to get to and from the airport and the charge for the taxi should should only be 30 cuc. We had Bertha and Fidel cook breakfast for us every morning for a small fee. The food was delicious! If I ever go back to Cuba, I will certainly stay here again! ENJOY!

Uff. Jessica, what a pity we felt the day you arrived, the way from the airport to our house, you did it with the driver of the most bad and liar taxi that Cuba had. Your first image of a Cuban was terrible and the most painful thing is that the taxi was of the state, not private, that Lord Taxista said that that taxi the Cuban government had given to him to charge to the tourists what he wanted, THAT IS LIE , THERE IS A RATE, that's why I argued with him, we made the mistake of not picking up the car plate to denounce it. My husband and I felt a lot of impotence. But this bad moment only lasted a few minutes, thank God your 7 days in Cuba were wonderful, walked without any fear on the bus, to the beach, to Old Havana, understood well when we explained about the double currency, so that No one else could fool them, hahaha, I know they really enjoyed the experience. Thank you my girl for your praises, our work of Hosts is very hard, but very flattering, when we receive these comments we fill with joy and give us strength to continue working, you make us very happy with your words. Really lovely couple, very kind and helpful. They called us a taxi every time we needed one. The room was very clean when we arrived, and was cleaned everyday that we stayed there. Great breakfast. Really enjoyed our visit!

Bertha Y Fidel nos trataron cómo si fuéramos familia. Nos trataron mejor que si nos hubiéramos quedado en un hotel de 5 estrellas. La casa siempre estuvo limpia y ordenada. Cada vez que necesitábamos algo Bertha hacía las gestiones necesarias para poder complacernos. La atención que nos brindaron fue excelente. La próxima vez que regrese a Cuba no voy a dudar en quedarme en la casa de Bertha y Fidel!

What can we say about Bertha and Fidel! They were so welcoming and the perfect hosts. We were a group of 4 university students and this homestay was exactly what we needed. The main room has a huge comfy double bed and the living room has a pull out sofa bed which was great at night and could be folded away for the day. The breakfasts were great, always with fresh fruit and great scrambled eggs. We had limited Spanish but Bertha always managed to chat to us so enthusiastically! Its only a short bus ride in to Havana central (very very cheap) and really makes you feel like you're living the local life. The neighbourhood is very traditional and has a great place to eat just round the corner. Bertha and Fidel also completely sorted out the booking of our next casa in Trinidad which was a really big help.
The little touches that Bertha and Fidel offer, as well as it being a fantastic house, make this the place to stay in Havana!Host reply
