Siamo una famiglia con 2 figlie che ospitano studenti internazionali e irlandesi da 9 anni. Viviamo in una strada tranquilla dall'altra parte della strada rispetto a un parco ea 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell'autobus per il centro città e Maynooth. Lucan dista 12 km dalla città con un buon servizio di autobus. C'è un grande centro commerciale con cinema, ristoranti e negozi a 5 minuti di autobus. Abbiamo una camera singola, armadi, pavimento in legno, persiane e tende. Cucina completamente attrezzata disponibile.

La nostra casa si trova a 12 km dal centro della città su una buona linea di autobus. 5 minuti in autobus vi porteranno a Liffey Valley, un grande centro commerciale con cinema e ristoranti. C'è un parco dall'altra parte della strada.
Viviamo in un vicolo cieco ed è una strada tranquilla.

I have had the most wonderful experience living with Sheena and the girls. I felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. It was a home away from home and I will miss it dearly. It was perfect.
The room was lovely and at the back of the house with a nice view of the garden. The bathroom was clean and private. Everyone was very considerate about the others living in the house, keeping the shared spaces clean and respectful about private spaces.
The communication with Sheena went very smoothly before the stay. During my stay there was a lot of communication and openness which helped set boundaries and assured a pleasant time for everyone.

I stayed here for 4 months because of an internship in Lucan. I loved it, Sheena and her family really make you feel welcome. With a private room and bathroom I got my privacy when needed, and I could freely use all else in the house, like I was part of the family. The nearest bus stop is just around the corner (6 min walk) and the bus takes about 30 min to get to the center of Dublin.

I really enjoyed the stay at Sheenas house. She and her daughters are lovely and you feel good during your stay. You can do your own thing and they are doing their thing but you can always talk to them when you see each other.
The house is clean and in a safe and quiet area but you can go to Dublin or other cities from there quite easily.
For me it was the perfect experience for my three months stay. Thank you for that!Giugno 2021

Sheena is a lovely person, and her family made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. The attic room was cosy and warm, with abundant natural lighting, and lots of space. I could do my laundry and cooking with no problems at all. Lucan itself is a quiet, quaint, and safe neighbourhood. Sheena's house is just 6 minutes walk to the bus stop, with a bus ride that takes about 40 minutes to get to the city. It's very ideal for a student who is looking for a peaceful place to stay with a welcoming host family. Thank you to Sheena and Aine and Ciara!
