NOTA BENE: - che il mese di agosto è un periodo premium e i prezzi sono leggermente più alti, questo verrà mostrato in qualsiasi richiesta di prenotazione effettuata per quel mese.
Luminosa casa familiare moderna situata nel piccolo villaggio di Kirkliston, a poco meno di 10 miglia da Princes Street, nel centro della città di Edimburgo. Entro 5 minuti di auto dalle principali autostrade che portano a tutte le parti della Scozia e dell'Inghilterra. Anche l'aeroporto di Edimburgo è a dieci minuti di auto ma non siamo in una traiettoria di volo.
La nostra casa è composta da 3 camere da letto 1 con bagno privato, la camera degli ospiti ha un bagno separato esclusivamente per l'uso dell'ospite. Abbiamo un salotto e una cucina con zona pranzo, una veranda che conduce al giardino con terrazze e accoglienti aree salotto.
I nostri ospiti possono avere la privacy della stanza del sole se vogliono rilassarsi e rilassarsi, leggere, guardare la TV o usare internet, che è disponibile anche nella loro stanza. Siamo una coppia matura con 2 ragazzi cresciuti che hanno case proprie e non stanno più con noi.

La nostra casa si trova sul lato nord della città di Edimburgo nel tranquillo villaggio di Kirkliston.
Ci sono 9 miglia dal centro della città ea soli 10 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto di Edimburgo.
La fermata dell'autobus è a soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla casa, l'autobus numero X38 vi porta direttamente al centro del centro di Edimburgo.
Non siamo lontani dal Palazzo Linlithgow e Castello di Stirling, che è anche sulla linea di autobus X38.
Siamo a 10 minuti di auto dalle principali vie che portano a Glasgow in Occidente, a nord alle Highlands e anche a sud della Scozia che porta in Inghilterra.

Sara and I had a very nice stay at Lorrain and Bill's house in Edinburgh!
We weren't home much, but we had some nice talks in the morning. Lorraine and Bill are great hosts and they will do anything for you to make you feel home. They had many great recommendations and we could definitely use their tips and tricks.
We would love to stay with them another time!Host reply

We stayed at Lorraine and Bill's house for 4 nights. They made us feel at home right away and were always very helpful and kind to us. You can tell they put passion into hosting people. Being that we were Italian, they made sure to provide us with a breakfast that we could like, which we appreciated very much! On the last night we decided to have dinner together, and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening that we will not forget!
The house is located in a quiet village from which it is easy to get to Edinburgh by bus, and it is very clean and well-kept. The room is large and the bathroom is equipped with everything you may need.
We have wonderful memories of this experience and we can only recommend staying with this loving family!Host reply

Lorraine & Bill opened their house to us, and looked after us superbly. The dedicated guest room, guest bedroom and guest bathroom, saw to all of our needs. Breakfasts exceeded ‘a light breakfast’, which was very much appreciated, fuelling us for our long days in Edinburgh. We were given plenty of good advice on using public transport (buses and trams), which we found to be extremely reasonably priced and places to visit. Overall, a very pleasant and successful trip to Edinburgh. We will definitely try to book again with Lorraine, when we return for our next Edinburgh adventure. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I stayed one week in Lorraine and Bill's house! We both enjoyed very much our stay and felt so sad to leave. Lorraine and Bill made us felt immediately at home by their warm welcome. Bill carried upstairs our heavy suitcase and Lorraine even drove us to the supermarket to buy something to eat. Later, my daughter was excited to play the lego and coloring activities that they prepared in advance. She even had a temporary bike and Peppa pig toy during our stay. Lorraine and Bill are both very patient with my daughter, so she wanted to share pictures and music with them! Needless to say, we enjoyed very much Bill's live music concert on the Beetles and Eric Clapton! He also taught my daughter how to sing along with him. It was so beautiful to see how we could connect with each other through music :)
As for the room and the bathroom, they were very clean and comfortable. Also, the breakfast was prepared carefully by the host! It was easy to go to Edinburgh by the X38 bus, not even one minute walk from their house. Every time we went back, we felt relieved because Edinburgh was very crowded during the festival and it was perfect to watched several shows in the town while also had relaxing time at Lorraine and Bill's place! I couldn't recommend more Lorraine and Bill's place more!Host reply

The welcome I received when I came back from the Higlands for the end of my Scottish journey had been as warm and friendly as when arriving from France. I spent such a good time with Lorraine and Bill sharing common passions : walking, music and chatting. They helped me to choose the best things to discover in Edinburgh. I'll definitely have a stay at Lorraine and Bill home if I go back to Scotland !

Lorraine is a super guest !
She was very attentive to us. We pass 2 night in her house and all was perfect. Her and Bill are very friendly, they took the time to talk to us aroun a glass of bear.
I would recommend anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh to come and see them.Host reply

Lorraine and Bill have been so friendly and helpful on my way to Mull. Everything was perfect, the house is welcoming, warm and perfectly clean. I will come back for three nights before going back home to France. Then I recommend absolutely my hosts.

I recommend this home stay ! I was very scared because that was my first time traveling on my own and these people take a great care of me. I appreciated talking with them. And even if your English is not perfect like me, they will never judge you and will help you to make you understand. I also enjoyed learning more about their culture and listening and playing guitar with a amazing singer like Bill.
