Viviamo a Washington DC, nel grande quartiere di Takoma. Super ben collegato con i mezzi pubblici a uno centro di DC e Maryland.
Rock Creek Park si trova a dieci minuti a piedi, e così è il centro Takoma acquatica per nuoto, gratuito per i residenti di CC. Campi da tennis, parchi e un grande mercato degli agricoltori durante tutto l'anno. Ci sono diversi ristoranti, come la leggendaria organico Marks caffetteria, sala Oliva, Stazione Takoma per musica jazz dal vivo. Godetevi la pace di un grande quartiere pur vivendo in città.

La nostra casa si trova nella neighborhoud abbastanza di Takoma DC. Molto ben posizionato per accesso downtowb DC o Maryland con i mezzi pubblici. Diect linea bus ai musei. 0,5 miglia dalla metro linea rossa, e 10 minuti a piedi le linee di autobus su 16 st. O dietro l'angolo per linee di autobus in Georgia Av. E o 14th St.

Carmen is the greatest host I’ve ever had. She always welcomed me when I felt like talking with her, and she never interrupted or offended me. She is full of considerate especially when I looked tired. She was kind enough to give me a ride to the city and the airport even though it takes 20-30min to get these places from her house. I also enjoyed going for a walk with her and her dog in such a beautiful area.
The basement apartment is well organized, and I had a great rest there. There are many kitchenwares such as nice cookwares, knives, and an electric kettle. so I also enjoyed cooking some meals.
I’m so glad to having spent great time with her and her adorable dog. I'll stay her house again for sure when I visit D.C. next time.

Living in this house wasn't great because of several problems. First off, the person who owns the place kept coming into my room a lot to deliver packages I ordered even when I was studying which was annoying.
There was also a dog around that wouldn't stop barking, making it hard to concentrate or relax. It was tough to communicate with the hots because she always seemed upset about something. She complained about my cooking smells and water use, making me feel uncomfortable and offended.
To top it off, in the last week, the host said the laundry room was broken and locked it. But it seemed like it was just an excuse because there was nothing wrong. She also took some kitchen stuff for no reason.
All these things made my time in the house not enjoyable. I hope they can fix these issues for other people who might stay there in the future.

It is very sad to hear all these. When this person was given utmost respect. Was accepted to move in two days early without charge because her country changed her plane ticket. Was picked up at the airport as her request for which she never paid a cent!!
Felt the privilege to go through my cabinets and use my storage jars at her will without asking. Repeatedly said this was a business but, obviously that only applied to me. She felt that not only she had the right to her room and use of the kitchen.. the long breakfast conversations at the dining room table were enough to make me feel u comfortable in my own homeAgosto 2023
I had such a great time here with Carmen and her dog. One of the best things I did while in DC was to stay at her house.

Carmen is the greatest of all the homestays host we have had. She gives you a feeling that you are in your own home. She drove us to city center in rain to catch hop on hop off bus. She drove us to Alenxandria to site see. She dropped us at the airport and then had to return the backpack we forgot inthe car. It had our passprt, air tickets and money. During our stay we had house to ourselves, We have invited her to stay with us whenever she comes to Ecuador.She is an extraordinay human being.
