  I picked this guest up from the airport for FREE. I showed her around our neighbourhood, where to buy Leap card etc and gave her a list of our house rules. I explained to her in a the gentlest and most friendly way possible that we have a young family and would appreciate if she could keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. She borrowed my mothers hair dryer for a whole week and wanted to dry her hair every morning AND every evening. This guest showered twice per day for 30-40 minutes each time. On arrival, (20 minutes in my house) she asked to use washing machine. I explained that she could wash her clothes once per week as she was staying 6 days only. Guest wanted to use washing machine EVERYDAY. She washed by hand every day many clothes, using my washing detergent and hung clothes to drip dry in bedroom. She damaged floor in bedroom from water. After 5 days she washed her clothes in the washing machine. She BROKE the blind in the bedroom when she hung all her clothes on hangers from the roller blind. She stored cooked food in pots & pans in cupboards, letting it go rancid. I explained as per the website, that a light breakfast was included and gave her a choice of 5 cereals, milk and fruit and bread. She ate 4 slices of bread, 5 cereals, 2 boiled eggs per day and then took a packed lunch of avocados, fruits, sandwiches etc without asking. This guest expected a fully cook breakfast for a king! She said she couldn't cook and asked me to cook for her. She had no concept of acceptable behaviour. I went out of my way to please this guest, dropping her places, engaging in long friendly conversations. My 11 month old was very sick while Tomoko stayed with us, and did wake at 2.30 am while I have her medicine. I apologised profusely for this. She wanted to hang out all the time with me and even my mother. Dishes were not cleaned and never dried despite asking this in the rules. Leaves meat and cooked food in cupboard when asked to put in fridge. Wanted to ask guest to leave after 1st day but felt sorry for her. Wish I had asked her as she was very hard work and cost me a fortune to feed! Disappointed with this guests unjust review and completely distorted view of my hospitality. We went above and beyond to help her. She obviously didn't read my profile where I explain I have 3 kids under 5 and a busy working mum. She actually thought I had nothing better than to cook for her and entertain her everyday. This guest behaves like a child, needs a lot of attention, hand holding and instructions and manners!
