I am very healthy and in good physical shape, with varying interests and hobbies. My passion, however, is to travel, explore new cultures and meet new people. I have had a lot of experience in this regard with a substantial number of (mostly privately arranged) successful home stays under my belt... but I thirst for more. I am very affable, but low-keyed, quiet, and respectful at the same time.

Uma pessoa espetacular, educado, atencioso e um grande amigo.

Laurence's stay three years ago now, was indeed quite a challenge for both of us but I think we managed it quite well, considering how far apart are our values and our perspectives on life are! We both made some compromises in a respectful way and figured out a pleasant way to share the house for these three months. Of course I ask all my guests to do their own dishes, and generally clean up after themselves, I also occasionally extend an invitation for a shared meal. However, Laurence was expecting a full pension, and housemaid service I think, and he was very surprised when I asked him to pitch in with doing the dishes as a tradeoff for the meals I prepared for him. Since we are two respectful beings, we found a way to make it work! We were housemates for three months, and I have the same perspective as him: it was a new kind of challenge for both of us,! Lawrence is an educated guest who likes to have lively conversations. He is polite, respectful and well mannered. I can't say I disliked the experience and I can't say I would want to repeat the experience though, being of very different perspectives in life made it quite a challenge but it was one we both picked up gracefully.
