Surrounded by a sculpture garden in southern Etruria between Bolsena Lake and the Tuscan coast emfängt you Michele, Elena and her two "children" Stella and Leonardo in their "Casale d'Artista". The Banditella property is located between Lake Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian coast with its beaches in the heart of Southern Etruria. The nearest town is 5 km away Tuscania with its historic city center and its famous Romanesque churches and Etruscan necropolis.

The Banditella is the ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking, with robust Tour bikes or on horseback (and of course for discovery tours mi car). From here go from hundreds of kilometers of field and forest paths that bring you up to the sea (Montalto di Castro, Tarquinia), the Bolsena lake or somewhere else. We organize rallies and multi-day trails and offer bikers and bike repatriation (your pedaling as far as you come and we'll pick you up).

The "Banditella" located in the heart of Southern Etruria, the heartland of the Etruscans, between Lake Bolsena and the coast of South Tuscany, on a hill surrounded by woods and olive groves, between Tuscania and Canino. The nearest major town is the old 5 km away Etruscan town Tuscania with its Etruscan archaeological sites, the two famous Romanesque basilicas of San Pietro and Santa Maria Maggiore with its picturesque medieval / Renaissance old town. Also nearby Capodimonte on Lake Bolsena with its beautiful beaches (14 - 16 km), Tarquinia perhaps the most important Etruscan city with its unique Etruscan frescoes (29 km), Montalto di Castro (29 km) and the provincial capital of Viterbo (24 km) with its picturesque medieval old town.

House Rules
We do not love and have no TV. Since this is a serious handicap for some this was mentioned here. Dogs are welcome but they should be able to abide by certain rules. Chickens, geese, ponies are not hunted and they should understand with other dogs. The interior should not be smoked. On request it is also possible to eat with us. This means mostly with the family to eat (Of course you can have your own table).

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
