Welcome to my home and your home in Matera’s Sassi, the right place where to chill out after a day of adventures.
L’Albero di Eliana (Eliana's tree) is an eco-friendly b&b, we enjoy to share with travellers and locals with having a cup of tea and we always grow together.
You can wake up to silence, be serenaded by local birds and feel the magic
of the Sassi of Matera with the smell of coffee in the air.
In the house there are two guests' rooms and my room. All the rooms have a private bathroom in the room and a shared kitchen, feel free to make yourself at home and to cook what you like.
Wifi is available in the common space and also teas and books.

About the Area
Here you will be inspired by the beautiful UNESCO world heritage listed city of Matera and by the Murgia, a natural wonder just around the corner.
L’Albero is the best place to explore Sassi and also to explore Murgia, to forget the car and get lost in a wonderful environment sorrounded by nature, history and architecture.
The house is very well located in the heart of Sassi but very close to all the facilities. You'll have nearby supermarket, Pharmacy, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and all sorts of shops.
Please travel light, to appreciate the magic of the Sassi you need to walk a bit and to go down some stairs.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

After using the kitchen leave everything clean.
Please do not smoke in the house and do not eat in the rooms.
Thank you for respecting the little eco-friendly habits in the house like reducing your waste, ricycling and using consciously water and energy.
The common space is available until 11 pm.

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
