The apartment, at the third floor of a middleage building, is located in the centre of Pieve Santo Stefano, at about 25 km(16 mi) from Arezzo and 70(43 mi) from Florence, Tuscany.
The accomodation is 120 sqm, has a master bedroom, a single bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and a huge studio, the tower, from which you can enjoy a three side view of the village of Pieve and the surrounding hills. It has a rural, welcoming taste, ideal if you are looking for quietness and nature.
It is a place where you can rest, paint, write, think, walk and visit the Monastery of La Verna, the paintings of Piero della Francesca ( San Sepolcro, Monterchi) the birthplace and the house of Michelangelo (Caprese Michelangelo) and the hermitage of Madonna del Faggio(Cercetole) built in the 15th century where according to tradition, the Virgin appeared to a shepherd.
Pieve Santo Stefano borders Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo, Chiusi della Verna, Sansepolcro and Verghereto.

About the Area
The house is located in the centre of Pieve Santo Stefano, an ancient village whose origins go back to time immemorable. Here you can find deli, fruit and vegetable shops, bakers a pharmacy and just in case, the emergency service - Misericordia as well as the heliport of the hospitals (which are in Sansepolcro and Città di Castello, i.e. nearby).

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
