It was a lovely experience staying with Cris. Extremely hospitable and kind, Cris was the perfect host. Her house is situated in a very convenient location next right to a big park, close to St Paul's Basilica. I also had the chance to try home cooked Italian and Austrain food at her house

Our only regret is that our hectic schedule did not allow us more time to spend with Chris. Her hospitality was incredible, giving us extra wonderful memories of Rome (and not just the amazing food!). We have made a new friend and if we don’t return to Rome we will certainly recommend to others. Could not have wished for more!

This was our first homestay and it was FANTASTIC! Chris made us feel at home. She is very kind and caring ,great cook, easy to talk to and because of her we had the opportunity to truly expirience the local culture. Her home is also gorgeous, very clean and has a great location, close to a metro line. It was a plesuare for us to be her guests and we'll definitely come back someday!

Chris est formidable. Elle est une très bonne personne et cuisine de délicieux plats, avec des produits frais. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux. Elle a deux chiens adorables qui ne sont pas envahissant mais il y a potentiellement des puces pour ceux qui sont allergiques.
Attention cependant aux personnes qui ont du mal à dormir comme moi, le bar dansant juste en dessous fait beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à 2-3h du matin. Cependant mon ami n'a pas été dérangé.
Mis à part le bruit, la chambre est confortable.
Prendre le métro proche de l'appartement permet de se retrouver rapidement dans le centre à coût modique (1,50€ le ticket).

If you are a traveller visiting Rome, I cannot imagine a better place other than Chirstiana's home! You'll have a large room that can easily accomodating two persons, a breakfast with coffee/tea and some bread and in the evening a wonderful wonderful meal for supper! I always told Christ that her cooking the best! And I repeat--THE BEST!
As in my case, I lived in Chris's home for half a year. She and her son Niki is more than what I could have imagined in this completely new city. At first I cried a bit for not adjusting, every time Chris helped me out.
During my stay, I also witnessed some hard time in Chris's life. She is a very strong woman, could be tough and stubborn sometimes, but she is always friendly with each and every of her guest. They don't drink milk at all, but each time they do the shopping, they always take some milk for me. Small things like that makes this goodbye soo hard to say.
Niki is a quite boy, could be shy at first, but later when he gets used, he is also kind and always willing to help. He is a problem solver, and you can count on him. He is also a musician-to-be,, I hope that one day he can realize his dream and finally become a musician! I am looking forward to see him shine!
This goodbye is very hard, but it is the time. Chris and her family prepared me for well, and now I am confident enough to live on my own in this city. I acted like I am very happy, because I am not good at saying goodbye at all. So this evening, I am writing everthing I want to say to Chris's family here. It is more of a letter than a review.
I sincerely hopr that Chris , Niki and Jose all the best for the future.

This was my second time staying with Chris, and I will definitely return on my next trip to Rome. This time I brought my daughter who enjoyed the homestay as much as I did. The location is perfect, with metro and bus stops nearby. Chris is a caring host who makes you feel right at home. She is also an excellent cook.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
