Rosalba was the perfect hostess. She maintained contact with me prior to my stay, picking me up and dropping me off at the train station to ensure a safe start and end to my holiday. Rosalba’s home is immaculate, her meals divine and knowledge of the area superb. I was able to truly experience Syracuse as Rosalba went above and beyond taking me to places I would not have had the opportunity to experience.
Rosalba is the perfect hostesss.. I cannot begin to tell you how much i enjoyed my stay with her. Rosalba's home is immaculately clean with all modern conveniences. The bedroom was large, bright and airy with patio doors onto a nice ,large balcony. A lovely new private bathroom with large shower was very much welcomed. Rosalba is the perfect hostess because she really cares about her guests and is a very kind lady. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she only uses top quality food and drinks for her guests. The tasty Sicilian meals Rosalba cooked for me were beautiful and on par, or better, than most restaurants i visited- she is clearly a wonderful cook. Breakfast on the balcony every morning was a wonderful way to start the day. When i arrived in Syracuse Rosalba picked me up from the bus stop in her car and took me to the apartment which was very kind of her. The apartment is elegant, spacious, very well decorated and in a nice area. Rosalba is a font of all knowledge on Sicily and kindly let me know where to visit and when. She also gave me a personal guided walking tour of Syracuse and Ortigia which was a great introduction to Sicily.
I cannot recommend Rosalba and her wonderful hospitality enough. I was very sad to leave.
I will definitely be returning to Syracuse as i loved my stay there so much.
Rosalba was a very caring host. She graciously showed us what to visit. We loved Ortigia, my favorite place after Amalfi. Her home was spotlessly clean. We had our own bathroom and nice shower. She shared many stories and her life in Siracusa. We had a great time!
Nice house, nice location, very good breakfast.
Rosalba is very kind and friendly.
Everything was perfect !
We had a fantastic host in Siracusa at Rosalba Cianci. She is a very kind and helpful lady. We Lost our baggage but found it with her help. She took us in Ortygia area, found out the timetable to us to travell around the eastcost.
We stayed at Rosalbas for 8 days. The apartment is beautiful and the view is spectacular! Everything in the apartment is new and clean. Apartment is located walking distance from Ortigia. Rosalba was very friendly, warm and helpful. She gave us some good tips for our vacation and helped us to find busses and nicest places to swim. She also told us a lot of Siracusas food-culture (like arancinas and romanos) and told us where to find best ones. I sincerely can recommend Siracusa and Rosalbas place to everyone who loves sun, Sicilian food, swimming in the sea and sightseeing.
