Fully furnished 40m2 studio apartment (electrical appliances, dishes and bed/bath linen): eat-in kitchen; dressing room, bathroom with shower and washing machine; bedroom with double bed and single sofa bed. Air conditioning. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment and pets are not allowed.
For more information on prices and conditions or if you have special needs related to the length of your stay, do not hesitate to contact us. The apartment can also be rented for several months and various contractual forms are envisaged.
The owner lives on the same property, but in another apartment. This will allow the tenant to have his privacy, but to be able to interact daily with the guest, who is also available for any need relating to the stay.

About the Area
Casa Sara is located in Marghera, one of the mainland districts of the city of Marghera. The neighborhood is very well served: supermarkets, pizzerias, restaurants, tobacconists, cinemas, gyms are within easy walking distance.
To reach the historic center of Venice, just take the bus three minutes from the apartment. In 15-20 minutes you will reach Piazzale Roma, which is the bus terminal on the islands. From there, you will then move around the historic center either on foot or by vaporetto (the water "buses").
Casa Sara is easily accessible whether you are traveling by car, train or plane. For this reason it is also a very convenient accommodation if you want to visit the rest of the region or if you are moving for study or work reasons and you have to move to reach other locations on the mainland.
If you travel by car and want to calculate the route with a GPS, just enter our full address, which you will receive when you book. We will gladly give you further information on which is the best and most convenient route.
If you are traveling by train, you must get off at the Venice-Mestre station and not at the Venice-Santa Lucia station. The Venice-Mestre station is the first one you reach when arriving in Venice. All trains stop in both Mestre and Santa Lucia; so it's not a problem having to get off in Mestre. From Mestre station you can reach the apartment in about 20 minutes by public transport or on foot.
If you travel by plane, you can arrive either at the Marco Polo international airport in Venice or at the Canova international airport in Treviso. From Marco Polo it takes about 40 minutes by public transport; from Canova in about an hour, an hour and a half by public transport (the times are calculated from when you get on the first public transport and not from when you get off the plane).

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
It is forbidden:
1. smoke in the apartment;
2. have animals;
3. organize parties or events that disturb other people living in the building;
4. sublet the apartment;
5. to host people for the night without communicating it to the owner. Any person staying in the apartment will be duly registered with the police and will pay the tourist tax required by the Municipality of Venice for the first five nights of stay.

Taking into account the COVID-19 health emergency, the rental price includes weekly cleaning of the apartment which will be carried out by the owner's trusted personnel. On the day established for cleaning, the tenant will have to find the apartment in order (indeed, cleaning is included and not tidying up of the apartment).
The tenant is required to comply with the rules of the Italian government, the Veneto Region and the Municipality of Venice regarding the containment of the spread of COVID-19. Any infringement of these rules will result in the immediate suspension of the rental of the apartment.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
