When visiting Venice I highly recommend staying in Spinea. It really is the best place to get a real flavour of true Italian life. We are an official, professional B&B opened 10 years ago. I (Maria) enjoy travel and painting and will be more than happy to give you some tips to enjoy your trip in Venice area. I have 1 triple + 1 twin available with Desk and Lamp, Hair-dryer in the bathroom, Mirror, and Closet / Wardrobe. Bathroom is shared with other guests.
Maria is 45. She speaks English, Italian, and Japanese and enjoys sports, cooking, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, painting, reading, learning foreign languages, travel, nature, and theatre
Claudio is 51 and enjoys sports, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, photography, socialising, travel, learning foreign languages, gardening, and nature. He speaks English, German, and Italian

There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Maria Grazia offers qualified language instruction in her native language Italian. One hour of instruction costs 25.00 EUR. The classes will be given by the family member at the accommodation.

I loved our stay with Maria. She and her husband were so kind and helpful. Their home is very clean and welcoming, the breakfast she made was excellent, they were both very helpful with suggestions/directions, and their company was something I wished I had more time to enjoy. We even took them up on their service for airport transportation and felt very safe during the drive. The walk to the train station was under ten minutes, and we were in Venice in less than 20. It was a very good homestay experience and the location can't be beat. I highly suggest staying here if you need a place near Venice!

Maria was a terrific host. Breakfast each morning, and she was fully willing to show which parts of Venice she recommended. She also recommended spots to visit in Spinea itself. Both her and her husband were both lovely to talk with. Would fully recommend staying with them.

Maria and her husband are excellent host. We were given very useful information on how to navigate public transport, great tips on what to order at local eateries, names of good restaurants to try out. Maria prepare a lovely breakfast each morning and was available to provide to answer all of our questions. This HomeStay is great as the house is slit in 2 levels with the top floor being for guest so you have both privacy and comfort. We had a lovely room with comfortable beds for our family of 3. I would recommend other travels to stay with Maria as she is very helpful and has a lovely home that makes travelers feel at home.

Maria and Claudio are such sweet couple, professional,room is large and everywhere is clean,we enjoy our beautiful breakfast, and location is very confidence to bus station just right in front of street,if we come we will definitely will stay with them again.

My friend and I stayed with Maria and Claudio for three nights. It was an an absolute pleasure to stay with them. Only 30 minutes outside Venice. Top notch service. Friendly, very helpful and helped us get the best of our days in Venice with what bus to get, what water bus to the islands and back and what were the best areas to visit In Venice. Really good breakfast and the area of Spinea is relaxed and has its own vibe. If you want to a do a home stay, I definitely recommend Maria and Claudio.

Maria is really nice. Gladly we lived their house for two nights. The house is near both the train station and bus station. Everything is convenient. And we really like the breakfast.

I cannot say enough about Maria, Claudio and Aneko! They were truly my home away from home, actually the bed was far more comfortable than mine! I feel as though I have known this family for years...I will not hesitate to recommend their B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay while in Venice. No hotel in the city can beat this wonderful house for cleanliness, fresh air and especially peace and quiet at night for the perfect sleep! And of course the price is absolutely amazing...with the money you save on hotel costs you can buy something great from this wonderful city.
How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
