I'm Colleen and look forward to hosting you for your stay in Toll Gate, Clarendon, Jamaica. I have 2 double rooms, one with air conditioning and all with meshed windows. All rooms have ceiling fans and misquito nets. My home is in a great location to get a real taste of life in rural Jamaica.
Colleen is 64 years old and enjoys cooking, music, festivals, reading, photography, travel, learning foreign languages, television, nature, theatre, and opera. She speaks English. She was educated in England.
The host offers tours of the south coast areas. Walking tour of the vacinity or air conditioned vehicle tours of the south coast. Tour prices to be negotiated with host.
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Colleen offers qualified language instruction in her native language English. One hour of instruction costs 30.00 USD. The classes will be given by the host himself at the accommodation.

About the Area
My house is located 5 minutes walk from the main A1 road. The are a variety of transportation available: rural taxi, mini-vans and rental car office. Many attractions: milk river bath and spa, black sand beach, great house, rum factory, crocodile, manatees, outdoor market, shopping malls. Norman Manley airport is 1 hours away and transfer can be arranged. Montego Bay airport is 3 hours away by car over mountain roads and is more expensive but transfer can also be arranged. So don't worry you won't have any problems finding my home in Toll Gate, Clarendon.

Colleen has been a great host, very kind and helpful. It has felt as being at home. Colleen´s place is very clean and tidy and has all the facilities I needed. Even though it is a bit far from the center, it is very well connected by a very quick subway line, so it is very easy to go anywhere in New York City from her place. The building has security and the area is very safe. The price is very good and I advise you to take advantage of her wonderful cooking skills. I definitely recommend this home stay.

Nuestro hijo de 15 años, viajo solo a casa de Colleen y realmente el trato y acompañamiento y el lugar donde lo recibió fue EXCELENTE. lo fue a esperar al aeropuerto con mucha diligencia y lo ayudó a orientarse en la ciudad de una forma muy didactica. Es una muy buena anfitriona y da una muy rica comida. totalmente recomendable

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
