We have a large art-deco home w/ 3 big bedrooms & 3 en-suite bathrooms that are available. Perfect for small or very large groups. Located within a quiet Barbican / Kingston 6 area that's within walking distance of numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and more. A short 5 min drive to Bob Marley Museum.
Our unique home was built for our love of Jamaican art, which fills the home from floor to ceiling. You will be surrounded with some of the finest art by many of Jamaica's best talent. Each bedroom is featured with amenities to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Each bedroom includes the following:

Chester Avenue Homestay is located in the upscale Kingston 6 / Barbican area, we are centrally located and walking distance to many shopping centres in the area. We are in a very quiet area with no traffic or night time noises. An easy walk to Cafe Blue or Cannonball cafe located at Sovereign Centre and Sovereign North. Including a short 5-10 minute walk to Sovereign Plaza, Orchid Village, Sovereign North and Lane Plaza all of which are home to a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, and even a movie theatre.
Also within walking distance is the US Embassy, in addition University of the West Indies and the Bob Marley Museum are a short 5-10 minute drive away.

About the Area
We are in a very quiet area with no traffic or night time noises. Located in the Barbican / Kingston 6 area, we are very centrally located and walking distance to a number of plaza's including Sovereign North, Sovereign Centre, Orchid Village, and Lane Plaza, ALL of which are about a 5-10 minute walk from our home. The plazas are also home to numerous restaurants from Sushi to Indian cuisine, cafes, bars, pharmacies, supermarkets and much more.
For those that need consular services, we're also walking distance to the US Embassy, you can also find the French, Canadian, and German Embassies roughly 10 minutes by car.

House Rules
Our home is your home! We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible. Our only main rules are to please ensure that you switch off any lights, fans, TV's, air conditioners when not in use or when you are leaving.
..same thing goes for your water usage. We're currently experiencing a severe drought and while we do have an adequate back-up water supply, please be as efficient with it's use as much as possible!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
