Enjoy a charming room with private bathroom in our home in a safe quiet area. Linens provided, bring your own towel. Hot water. Great Wi-Fi reception in the room. Walk to Sovereign Centre, Dance Ja. and all the shops and restaurants. We are in a great location to visit the Bob Marley Museum and Devon House.
Transportation is easily available, the #68 bus runs at the end of the street taking you to downtown Parade in minutes or to the universities. For airport pickup please let us know and we can arrange a taxi for you.

About the Area
We are located in the best part of town, uptown Kingston in Liguanea. No need for a car. Walk to Dance Jamaica in 3 minutes, the gym, Dominos Pizza, all the major shopping centers of Sovereign Centre and Sovereign North. There you can find everything from banks, restaurants (many open 24/7), cafes, wine bars, clubs, to medical or dental offices, gas stations, pharmacies. Walk to the Bob Marley Museum, art galleries, bookshops, pharmacies, just about everything you need. If you want to go further, there is a bus that runs at the end of the street and within minutes you are at the universities of UTECH and UWI as well as in downtown Kingston should you wish to visit the Institute of Jamaica or the National Library where I often go to do research.
There are several very reasonable restaurants like Takeaways in Orchid Plaza. Sovereign Centre has a food court and movie theater.

My stay at Widcome house was great. Patrica the host is a marvelous being one in a million. I would recommend to stay there any time.

In fact I didnt stay there at all. When I get there at 5am with husband and 1.5 year old baby I was told that the room i paid for in advance was in use so I could eather wait another few hours for the room or go somewhere else. I went somewhere else and I had to pay extra. Never had worst experience. In new place I also found out we werent the only ones it happend to. If you want to spent nice time in Jamaica dont bother booking with Patricia. Not a nice person at all.( paid from saturday till monday , arrived there on sunday morning so paid for extra day just to have few hours sleep which i didnt have).

Pat is a wonderful host, caring and informative. The house is shared with several other guests, with a communal kitchen that has the basics, as well as an upper and lower porch area. Our room was large and comfortable, great pillows. The house is older, but well kept, and the yard has several fruit trees.
How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
