About the Homestay
We live on a quiet street, approximately a mile overlooking the city, and 7 minutes from the airport. You can relax in the garden, read a book quietly from a rope swing, partake of mangoes, or whatever fruit is in season, and enjoy distinctive island cuisine. Although you will have your own private room and patio, you are welcome to share our spacious living room, our dining room and outdoor umbrella-covered patio.
While transportation to and from the airport is complimentary, if needed, we can assist our guests to make connections with a driver for other travel arrangements.

About the Area
The sparkling Caribbean sea lies less than a mile from our house location, and we can often see the fireworks from nearby hotels as well as the boats and other on-the-water activities. We are less than 10 minutes drive from the airport, and local taxis pass by our gate. However, we will arrange your pick-up at the airport. The city provides eclectic restaurants & shops.

The whole family were great hosts! We spent only 4 nights (21 Feb 2016 – 25 Feb 2016). Norma and her whole family are amazing people.
They did for us everything that we needed to make our vacation enjoyable. They gave us good advice about beaches, shops and restaurants. Their daughter, Marisa took us by car to the shopping centre, and to the beach and showed us interesting places. Every morning Norma and her daughters cooked the absolutely most perfect local breakfast. We tasted many (for us unknown) fruits and typical Jamaican foods.
The house is very nice...beautiful patio for breakfast with a view of the sea. Our room was comfortable and clean.
Staying there was a fantastic experience, one we will never forget. We felt Like members of the Family.
If we ever go back to Montego Bay, we would certainly stay there again.

I ended up spending (1) week with Norma and her family...and left there feeling like a new member of the family! Each morning I was pleasantly greeted with a smile and a colourful, delicious and healthy breakfast...a perfect start to any day! Our conversations were meaningful, filled with laughter and understanding. Norma and her daughter made sure that my needs were met, that I was comfortable and safe going out and coming in. I look forward to my second visit and a definite recommendation for anyone travelling to Montego Bay. The location is close to the city centre yet far enough away! Nice view too!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
