Two of my children (teenagers) and myself stayed with Sakiko and her family for 11 days: This stay completely enhanced our overall experience of Japan / Tokyo & Chiba. Indeed, we were very welcomed to her family and they shared a lot of information around what we could do and also facilitate accesses that would not have been possible otherwise (and we could not communicate in japanese). Staying with her really made our stay in Japan unique and unforgettable.

I was staying in tatami room, and it was rly great stay, room was quite spacious futon on tatami was great choice as I haven't slept so well anywhere else in my life. Sakiko and her Husband also can speak quite well english so communication with them was very good. She also helped me plan my visit of Tokyo and told me all the places I can visit and how to get there. Can only recommend.

Sakiko and her family were lovely!
Each evening we would have dinner together and have chats and they were ever so helpful! They suggested places I should go in Chiba (Nokogiri mountain is amazing!) among other things.

Everything went well.
Sakiko is a kind and welcoming host as well as her family members. When I had any questions, she was a great help.
The room was clean and comfortable to sleep in.
I would book it again.

I had the pleasure of staying with Sakiko and her family for 11 days during my trip to Japan, and it was an unforgettable experience. Their fluency in English ensured that communication was never an issue, and their friendly and helpful nature made me feel immediately at home. Sakiko went above and beyond to give me suggestions for places and cities to visit so I made the most out of my JR pass. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Everything was perfect, and I totally recommend Sakiko's homestay to anyone seeking to live with a local family in Japan. Their hospitality is the best of the best, and I'm really looking forward to return and visit their family again and learn more about the Japanese language and experience amazing Japanese culture with them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Sakiko brought me to a school event, taught me some basic japanese words and had dinner and lunch with me. Highly recommend if you want to experience a local japanese experience! Hope to come back again next time

We had a lot of fun staying with Sakiko-san. She and also her family are really very nice and caring people and you feel like part of the family. They helped us a lot and also took us to very nice places and events. This way, we were able to experience a part of Japan that might be hidden from many tourists. Thank you for that Sakiko-san and take care ^^

We spent 2 months with Sakiko and her family and absolutely loved it. Sakiko goes above and beyond to help with everything. The entire family is kind and fun to hang out with. The area is good for everyday life, you can find anything you want within arm's reach, including free japanese lessons, arcades, shopping malls, onsen, etc; altough do note that central tokyo is about an hour away and travelling to points of interest might take longer. Amazing experience, I hope we can go back sometime.

I think that she is a warm and direct person.
She was quite busy but took time to recommend me few places. The dinners were good, reminding me of the ones I had at home :)
