Sakiko-san is a very nice and friendly host. On the day I was supposed to check-in, I got lost. I went to the nearest shop and Sakiko-san came to pick me up herself. It was so troublesome for her but she did it anyway. Her place is nice with restaurants along the way from the station. Just be warned that Tokyo is quite far from her place. I just wish I can interact with her family more.

In English below.
Top, we really are part of the famille at Sakiko's place. And with the other guests, it makes a big familly with the other guests those two days.
Close to a train station deserved by express train (then easily accessible with JR Pass). And providing good advice on places to visit in the area. Easily accessible from Narita Airport.April 2019
Sakiko's house was really comfortable. her and her family took good care of me and taught me a lot about life in japan and the culture as well. she always has great spot suggestions and helped me around when i had trouble figuring out stuff and we even went out together sometime. i never felt hungry or bored in their house and i always had fun communicating with everyone. i'm definitely coming back again! thank you so much for making my stay in japan such a great and enjoyable experience

Sakiko and her family are very nice and willing to help and talk to you. I regret that I wasn't able to spend more time and talk to them, I had a busy schedule during my stay. Ichihara is a very nice area with a lot to see and do. Don't let the distance from Tokyo stop you from staying, a lot of the same stores in Tokyo are around ichihara or in near by Chiba city.
I'm already planning a second trip to Japan and if possible I would stay with her family again.

They're a big, friendly family and are happy to help with all sorts. Food's great. Location's great. A really good homestay for practising your Japanese.

Enjoyed my stay in Ichihara, especially enjoyed the opportunity to go to local Japanese classes almost everyday and enjoyed eating dinner with the family almost every night. I had a lot of help when it came to how to spend my days so whenever I venture outside I always had somewhere to go. Just wish I would have interacted more with everyone, however everyone often seemed busy and I felt it would have been rude to bother them.
