The stay by Seryna was wonderful. She is very friendly and helpful. We were dancing together and laughed a lot. The room and her house are very tidy and very clean. I felt comfortable and welcome all the time. I'm looking forward to seeing Seryna again next time. It was a great stay! Thank you very much!

I've had a good time staying at Seryna's place. She was a fun, open, caring host and helped me whenever I need tips on where to go and how to get there. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed.

Serina was a very helpful and generous hostess. I had a problem with delivery of an item and she offered to help. Her home is easily accessible by subway, she gave good, detailed directions, and the neighbourhood is quiet.
Room basic and comfortable.October 2019
I only had a short stay with Seryna in Tokyo, I was just planning to stop over in Tokyo for a bit before getting on my flight from Narita, but the typhoon Hagibis arrived while I was staying and made the experience much more memorable :)
I hope if you stay with her you don't get hit by a typhoon, but I can assure you that if it does happen you will be well taken care of. Seryna cooked meals for me, made sure I was safe during the typhoon and was a great person to chat to.
Her house is in a convenient location for reaching either Ikebukuro or Tokyo by train and underground, she has bikes available if you want to cycle around the city and the building didn't fall apart during the typhoon; would recommend.

Dear Selina,
I am so very thankful for the time I got to spend with you!
I stayed with Selina for 2 weeks, as I was waiting for a free room in a student dorm.
The location was very convenient and cozy as the house is located in a residential area with lots of cute little houses. Also there's plenty of grocery stores around. To the nearest station its only a 10 minutes walk.
Serinas house is very clean and tidy. During the homestay I felt that Serina has treated me like family and has taken care of me a lot. She is a very open minded and kind hearted person and fun to be around. I can definitely recommend a stay with her! It has been my best experience in Japan so far.
Cheers to Selina, I hope to see her again soon! :DOctober 2019

Loved landing and learning from Serina, she has so much energy to share and is very helpful. As I’ve been learning it’s not easy to find some accommodations initially including this one so prepln the route and get some visual cue’s. Little streets all look the same to my western eye and the address differs sometimes from the actual one. My bag was seated 2 days and thankfully Serina could talk to the deliverers to be sure it arrived to the correct door.
Time around the table with her and a lovely young German student was a wonderful way to head out into the big city and amazing country. Much Aloha to you for yours and accepting my energy at your Ohana.September 2019
The Homestay website was made for people like Serina. She is very welcoming and comforting, ensuring that her home is your home while there.
She knows a handful of languages that she is fluent in, and if she isn't fluent she is interested in learning more about it. Serina has traveled to many countries and knows what people will need and are looking for while away.
She opens up with wonderful conversation, teaches customs of the Japanese and has plenty of great spots to recommend. I spent plenty of mornings sipping a coffee letting the hours pass as we spoke.
The room is quite big with a bed, attached are drawers to the bed and a dresser across. Clothes can be hung in the closet and the best feature, the air conditioning.
Japan was exceptionally hot when I arrived and the air conditioning was a life saver.
I personally got lost a few times, away from her house and she didn't mind guiding me over a phone call. She even met me while I was lost to guide me back to her house.
I was here for a short while but felt like I lived there.
When I return to Japan in the future I will definitely be looking into staying with Serina again.

First time in Tokyo and from the moment I booked Serina was more than helpful and went above and beyond what I expected from a homestay.
Even before I got to Japan she was answering my questions and had detailed exactly how to get around. If I had not had her advice I would have wasted hours and money on trying to get around by myself. The stay was amazing. Very Clean house and was very comfortable. 3-4min walk from the train station and the bike is also handy if you want to get around locally.
Suburban area which isn't too busy and not too far away from the main area via train. Thanks for the awesome stay! :D

Serina was a really welcoming hostess and accommodating especially as we arrived so very late at night. She lent us bicycles which was great to explore the local area in the time we had. Only one night stay so not a lot of time to get to know Serina more but liked our experience with her and happy to recommend
